AMT Emulator Guide

Unfortunately, GMail doesn't allow me to send programs directly to you, so instead I'm sending you a link to download it from my OneDrive. After the link, I'll explain how to use it. There's a lotta steps, but it's really easy, and it works for all of the creative cloud apps.

1. Create an Adobe Account

2. Download and install the official Adobe Creative Cloud app from http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/desktop-app.html

3. Login to the Creative Cloud app with your Adobe account.

4. Find the program you want to download (Photoshop CC 2017) and click on "Try." Wait for it to finish downloading.

5. When it's done, DO NOT click on the Start Trial button. Close the Creative Cloud window.

6. Open Photoshop.exe directly fromy
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2017\Photoshop.exe. You probably also want to create a shortcut.

7. A window will open asking you to sign in to your Adobe account. DO NOT sign in. Close the window.

8. Open AMT Emulator.

9. Click on the dropdown box at the top of the window, and select the program you want to use (Adobe Photoshop CC 2017).

10. (Optional, saves storage space) Click on "Advanced," and check the boxes for "Replace IMSLib.dll with a stub" and "Replace AdobePIP.dll with a stub." Click on OK.

11. Click install. A file browser will open.

12. Navigate to the install directory of the program you're using (the same one as in step 6). You will see some folders and a file called "amtlib.dll"

13. Double-click on amtlib.dll and wait until the main AMTEmu window says
"---WORKING DONE---"

14. Launch Photoshop from the desktop and enjoy using it!

!!!SOME IMPORTANT NOTES!!!

Whenever a program updates, you will need to repeat the process of patching AMTLib.dll (steps 6-14). You can also just choose not to update it.

Whenever a program has a major update that changes the name (for example, Photoshop CC 2017.5 or Photoshop CC 2018), the AMT Emulator will not be able to patch it. You'll have to wait for about two weeks for it to be updated, and you can download the newest version from Appnee. Just google "AMT Emulator Appnee." Thus, you shouldn't install major updates until AMT Emulator is updated.
