BACKGROUND:
sooyoung started dancing at a young age, she was 6 when she took her first ballet class, and soon moved to modern and hip hop. her first time singing was when her pet snail died, she sang in his “funeral”, her mother heard her voice and convinced her to take singing lessons. that’s how she started singing. she learned in a boarding school in town, but got too home sick and took lessons at home ever since
