  1. Jump #166: Warhammer 40,000 - Commorragh
  2. >Ace of Pentacles (A new foundation from which to turn your dreams into reality.)
  3. Considering what I'm doing here this is a kind of disturbing thing to reference.
  4. >Location: Low Commorragh
  5. >Identity: Drop-In
  6. I'll be skipping the Dark Eldar package completely, in favor of something decidedly... other... when I need to appear in public for interesting purposes. Specifically, using shapeshifting so that I look as they do, once affected by the glass plague. Transparent space elf form go!
  7. >Resistance (Free, Drop-In)
  8. Helpful. Don't need any pesky diseases or toxins bothering me.
  9. >Warrior Instincts (1200)
  10. The skills of a natural-born warrior, you say? Tell me more...
  11. >Incubus (600)
  12. I wanted both Wych and Incubus, but getting the skills in this package is good - I've got the raw ability to back it up from elsewhere in my chain, after all.
  13. >Pre-Fall Science (0)
  14. Now this is a handy bunch of knowledge. Everything that doesn't require psychic abilities... now I can replicate it. Which, to be honest, probably leaves out a LOT.
  15.
  16. The long and short of it: I'm going to be using alchemy, as in Full Metal Alchemist, to convert Dark Eldar souls to philosopher's stones.
  17.
  18. Normally, to do this on massive scales requires wars to take place and plenty of blood to be spilled in certain ways so as to convert a large area's populace, but quite frankly... with all the craziness in Commorragh, a couple of words and a couple of compulsions, and spilling the blood in the necessary amounts in the necessary locations is practically trivial.
  19.
  20. The trick is trying to activate these things simultaneously so that they can't be disrupted, but... apparently, according to the dice, I ended up converting 89% of Commorragh's population.
  21.
  22. I really, really hope I didn't accidentally a primarch, but I think it should be safe.
  23.
  24. After I converted all those stones into a thing, I ran them through a process to purify them. Mostly with already-verified methods to purge evil and dark influences from things. They went from dark-red-almost-black in color beforehand, to shiny bright red afterward. Though there was some black sludge that was left on the ground after all that happened.
  25.
  26. I hit that concentrated evil sludge with a purification blast for good measure, I am pretty sure it screamed before it shut up.
  27.
  28. ...I should find out what happens if I fire purification blasts into the Warp, in some future jump.
