  1. 2006-11-21: Index Holdings announces acquisition of ATLUS Co., Ltd. beginning on 2006-10-30 and closes on 2006-11-20.

  5. 2010-04-15: Index Holdings announces ATLUS Co., Ltd. becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Index Holdings, effective on 2010-05-10.

  7. 2010-08-30: Index Holdings announced its merger with ATLUS Co., Ltd. and Index Corporation, with Index Holdings becoming the surviving company, effective on 2010-10-01. Index Corporation continues to operate ATLUS's business under the ATLUS brand.

Announces later that day that Index Corporation would sell the digital game business, contents and solution business, and amusement business to Sega Dream Corporation, effective on 2013-11-01. Includes Atlus Holding, Inc. (parent company of Index Digital Media, Inc.), Tiger Mob Limited, Index Corp (Thailand) Ltd., Mobi Town Ltd.

  15. 2014-02-18: Sega and Index Corporation announces the separation of Index Corporation's contents and solution businesses into a new subsidiary named “Index Corporation” while renaming the old Index Corporation and its remaining digital game business division into “Atlus”, effective on 2014-04-01. Foreign subsidiary Index Digital Media, Inc. is renamed to “Atlus U.S.A., Inc.” to be included with Atlus at the same date.
