Myeung was born in Manchester alongside her twin brother, HyunTae. She had moved to Seoul when they were 7, and had kept on learning English. Her favourite idol was HyunA and eversince she had seen her at a concert, she was inspired by her. She had started to go to underground rapping with her brother and met Ahn Hyo-jin, better known as LE. She had auditioned for YG, but never got in.
