  89. Bio:
  90.
  91. Once upon a time, the young heir of Lichteisen family, Petrus, got drunk during a large feast. That large party was attended by a humble yet noble woman of lesser societal echelons, Dieuwke Dermaut. And once upon that party, fates decided that the drunk Petrus would flirt with the young Johanna. Flirting turned into a romance, hidden away from both sides of the family.
  92. Time passed and the two finally did what they were not supposed to do, for neither was wed nor promised to each other. But few weeks after the fateful night filled with young love and shameless bodily exploration, the two had to part ways; Johanna's family was moving away and across the border, into Tatalia.
  93. Fast forward two years, when Petrus, by then bethroted to Amandine Eylenbosch (a daughter of an influential and wealthy family), received relatively joyful news - or rather, his parents intercepted a letter to him from Dieuwke containing the news. A scandal ensued, for which Petrus was removed from line of succession, the bethrothal to Amandine annulled (to great anger of her parents), and with Joachim's father, Erik von Lichteisen, promoted to the position of a heir (and, just few months later, head of the House Lichteisen).
  94. Petrus was however not ashamed of what he did - and whom he made - with Dieuwke, and once the fruit of this illicit affair reached the age appropriate for a squire, he had summoned the boy to Lichteisen court, to further annoyance of all families involved. The boy was given thorough training, a horse, and a lance, and was made a cavalier of the house, albeit with everyone except his father taking great pains to avoid mentioning his roots.
  95. That bastard boy's name is Albrecht - and Albrecht is not the slightest bit ashamed of his parentage.
