  1. Reddit Votes
  2. I'm sure it exists, but is there a thread on here that sells Reddit upvotes en masse. I have a link I'd really like to get to the frontpage of Reddit.
  3. Nothing?
  4. They exist but they're expensive and usually don't give many votes. I've seen someone selling them on ebay at a price of 100 for 15$. You could also try looking on fiverr.

  16. i can do 500 for $15 but its only worth it if your content is decent
  17. 100 votes for 10$
  18. let me know if i can start the work.
  19. Reddit is a risky one. If the URL destination content is no good, or in anyway trys to sell something - then you could end up getting 500 downvotes to cancel out the downvotes.
  20. Why would you pay someone for Reddit votes?
  21. Just write something with "Top 10" in the title!
  22. (Works for me at any rate lol)
  23. why pay someone for upvotes when you can just find a niche reddit and pay to have your link at the top?
  24.
  25. Just put up good, funny stuff. I get at least 1 or 2 on the front page of a category every day....I host it on imagur and it gets put on imagur the next day for another explosive round of traffic.
  26. If you try to fool reddit/imagur that will downvote the crap out of you, there is no substitute for good content on these 2 networks
  27.
  28. I'm looking into creating a bot for reddit. The only reason I'm holding back in creating one is I don't know if there is enough people here who would want it. I mean $15 for 100 votes is just ridiculous. That'll be $150 for 1,000 votes.

  31. I don't think you are getting it. As fast as you will put the vote up with a bot, there will be 10 people to knock it down

  34. Great! I like discussing ideas from people who actually know what they're talking about. :)
  35. So say you have a site/link that just needs a boost of votes. It's not spammy and has good content.. I'm guessing a jumpstart of 1,000 votes wouldn't hurt its popularity. Or am I mistaken here?

  38. Reddit is a weird beast. There are literally hundreds of thousands of people ready to down vote anything that doesn't follow the reddit mindset. If something gets 100 or even a 1000 votes but is just a site that really has no viral value or significance the reddit army spot it straight away and down vote it into oblivion. This happens in minutes! not hours or days!
  39. I have had things hit the front page before and the traffic is incredible!!! How much money did I make? $2.00 Don't believe me? Ask Bass Tracker Boats, he was there watching! Redditors are separate species to the rest of us, it is estimated that up to 70% of them have ad blockers! By the way the things that went viral on reddit I had no part in. It was something on one of my sites that some other redditor posted. That is also a key to reddit. If one of the redditors with big karma points posts something it has a lot more chance than some random with 4 posts or less under his belt.
  40. by the way the things that go viral on reddit tend to go viral across the web. After reddit, facebook and twitter came on board and my server melted down from all the traffic. :(

  45. Thanks for taking the time in sharing those experiences! Based on what you said, I think I'd be better off developing the bot for myself than selling it to the public.
  46. I think I have the perfect niche for "redditors".

  48. Hey guys, I'm a bit newbie here. I'm lauching a browser extension that adds a full-featured twitter client inside facebook. I think it has a lot of potential to go viral but I'm not sure how to start. I supposed that buying some digg/reddit votes to boost it could work but after reading the whole thread I'm not sure about that. What do you think about it?
  49. Thanks in advance,
  50. Bruno.

  57. Reddit is definitely usuable in terms of SEO and Traffic but you don't just get to the frontpage by posting something and sending a couple of hundred upvotes.
  58. The best you can do is target smaller subreddits, they often also don't care if your images aren't from imgur or if you submit a good disguised blogspam.
  59. Don't just send upvotes but also send downvotes, because else their bots will notice. I have posts with 70 to 30 upvote ratios stay on smaller subreddits for days with out anybody blowing a whistle.
  60. I did some research into a reddit bot and vote selling and discovered that Reddit has send out seize and desist letters for people that actively sell upvotes (Be aware).
  61. Reddit automatically downvotes posts that get too many upvotes in a short space of time.
  62. Just look at the statistics on most front page posts and look how many downvotes they get.
  63. Spamming reddit is pointless. You'll get more success with sub-reddits but won't be that worth it.
  64. You could post a funny viral image, watermarked with your website url. Though good luck getting much traffic from that, most redditors will simply click back. Putting your time into Facebook is a lot better, more clueless users willing to click on anything.
