  1. Overall
  2. * Quieter year than 2017 due to working more
  3. * Though still 39 runs (115->154) compared to 44 in 2017
  4. * Didn't run any new Nep NGs other than the freebie that was RB1+ but other projects progressed well.
  5.
  6. January
  7. * ADF NG Amateur runs and improved NG+ Vile God because Endeavor momentarily took it.
  8.
  9. February
  10. * Tales of Marathon 2018 - ran Xillia, got around a 3:15 Milla time. Rusty but still an okay performance after some early shenanigans.
  11. * HDNMarathon mk2 - ran Neptunia Re;Birth 1 True End, RB3 NG Normal End, Omega Quintet True End. Mixed bag of performances though the OQ True time was a WR at the time.
  12. * After the marathon I focused on completing a decent run of each significant ending of Re;Birth 2 (Normal, True, Conquest, Holy Sword). Completed all but Holy Sword this month (Normal 1:13:53, True 2:09:39, Conquest 1:57:39).
  13.
  14. March
  15. * First and still only run of RB2 Holy Sword (2:33:11). It has since been beaten by ~10 minutes by another runner so I will return eventually.
  16. * Really started grinding the OQ times down. NG True went to 2:14:08, NG Normal 1:28:18 (first sub 1:30) and NG+ 58:25 (first sub hour)
  17.
  18. April
  19. * Great month for OQ. First was True End JP (1:54:34) then a week-ish later I finally brought English True End below 2 hours (1:59:45)
  20. * At the end of the month I routed and ran Sword Art Online: Lost Song more seriously than last year. Managed 3:17:17 for New Game and 1:58:16 for NG+. This is in the revisit list now that the PC port is out.
  21.
  22. May
  23. * Continued my SAO runs. This month was Accel World vs SAO (1:55:50 NG) and SAO: Fatal Bullet (1:22:14 NG+)
  24.
  25. June
  26. * First run of SAO: Fatal Bullet Any%, clocking in at a 2:37:07. This stood as record for a few months until Nyomdalee started running in late October.
  27. * Revisited AWvSAO and brought it down to a 1:43:04 with my first crashless PB.
  28. * Finally, decided to run SAO Hollow Realization. Managed 5:11:02 after some early struggles, still a kinda bad time.
  29.
  30. July
  31. * Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Plus came out. I routed it and came out with NG 1:06:16.
  32. * Also ran the original RB1 and lowered NG+ to 55:40 and ran the No Animation Skip meme for a 57:16.
  33. * Started learning Tales of Symphonia for PC towards the end of the month.
  34.
  35. August
  36. * Continued with ToS but it got put on hold for Neptunia stuff eventually.
  37. * Marathon season! Basically the same as last year. Tech work for PSR, then 2 runs for the Nep marathon + hosting shifts.
  38. => Just before the HDNMarathon I tied SeHa NG+ WR at 12:27.
  39. => Nep marathon runs were RB3 NG+ Normal (decent time but not great) and RB1+ NG (don't remember how this went)
  40. * After the marathon I cleaned up more NG+ categories - RB1+ NG+ in 48:03 and then new PBs for all 3 RB3 endings (1:08:17, 1:23:53, 1:33:44 for Normal, Good, True respectively)
  41.
  42. September
  43. * Resumed Tales of Symphonia learning/routing.
  44. * At the end of the month I posted a 7:42:52 in NG PC with my own arbitrary restriction (no Arte underflow glitch) since I felt the glitch made the run boring.
  45.
  46. October
  47. * I intended to improve my ToS PB to below 7:40 in this month but work didn't really allow me to do a 7 hour run on weekdays and on weekends I didn't have any motivation.
  48. * No new PBs at all this month.
  49.
  50. November
  51. * After Nyomdalee started shaking up FB strats I went back myself and improved all my PBs (Any% to 2:16:45, Easy NG+ to 1:10:57, Extreme NG+ to 1:22:50). Work continued to take up most of my time for the rest of the month.
  52.
  53. December
  54. * Another 12 Days of Nep was hastily organised. In the end I did two runs, both very hastily derusted. Sega Hard Girls NG True End in 1:11:xx and a combination of both NG Amateur endings in about 1:46.
  55. * I got off work for the Christmas period and returned to some old projects to hammer out some new PBs.
  56. * First up was retaking the RB1 NG with DLC record using the new DLC. After 3-4 days of improving my times I settled on a 1:09:31, WR by about 4 minutes.
  57. * After that I started learning Griotte_At's route for FFF: ADF NG Normal Goddess. I struggled with this for a while and could only get my PB down to 1:22:08, still over 8 minutes behind their time. But then I adapted the same strats to Easy, sans grinding, and brought that difficulty's time all the way down to 1:02:04 on the second day of attempts, significantly faster than all the older runs.
  58. * On the 28th we had a 3-way race of Fatal Bullet True End, which ended up being nowhere near as long as expected due to successive patches making it easier to get affection. The next day I got a dual PB Any% 2:03:58 and True End 3:29:53.
  59. * Finally, I decided to tackle routing ADF Vile God Ending on Easy, which was thought to be quite a difficult run due to its final boss being really OP. With the aid of some cheese I managed to complete a first run in 1:25:00 with significant improvements still left.
  60.
  61. 2019 (tentative) PLANS
  62. * FFF ADF - Improve NG Easy Vile God to around 1:20 or lower. Improve my NG Normal Goddess time to not suck as badly (~1:15 maybe). Submit both of them. Maybe route "Evil Goddess ending from fresh file" on Amateur and/or Easy (requires a NG+ cycle).
  63. * SAO: Fatal Bullet - Get sub 2 hours RTA in Any% [DONE], improve my True End time [WIP] and run Any% + All DLCs for the meme once the 4th DLC is released. {provided we can find a way past the Behemoth Tank at the end of DLC3 without too much grinding [we did]}
  64. * Retake/take all relevant Neptunia Re;Birth WRs
  65. -> This entails running: RB1 All Trophies, RB1+ All Trophies, RB2 NG Holy Sword, RB3 NG Good/True
  66. -> Revisit RB2 Holy Sword using whatever strats ykznsngkrobo found and possibly some new ones of my own.
  67. * Route and run more new JRPGs as usual.
  68. * Defend any records that I care about losing.
