1. Welcome Trainers, one and all! There are a ton of things to do in Battle City: you can catch Pokemon in the Safari Zone, visit the vast multitude of shops we have to offer, participate in a Capture Contest or Daily Challenge, groom and train your Pokemon, and, of course, battle! What are you to do, then, if you wish to relax and chat, or set up a battle between another participant? Trainers, we have an expansive lobby, created especially for your use! Here, you can interact with like-minded residents and their Pokemon. You can trade and sell items and Pokemon if you wish, as well! The lobby is where you'll spend most of your peaceful moments, and you can be sure that your interests will be accomodated for! There are personal computers, of course; but also television areas, where you can view matches between your fellow Battle City competitors; a gaming area, offering billiards, arcade games, and tables for any card or board games you can imagine; a snack lounge; and, of course, a fully fleshed-out food court! In addition, you need not fret about your large and powerful Pokemon, for we have included dedicated zones devoted to interaction with these mighty beasts! In these specialized areas, marked with blue floor tiles, you may display, sell, and trade your Pokemon! Chat it up with your fellow breeders, you never know what tips you may hear! If you are looking for a battle, don't worry - there's no special area to enter for that! Simply approach and challenge, as usual. Once you've found an opponent, register for an arena, and you'll be on your way to an exciting match in no time!

 3. Interaction between residents isn't the only purpose of the lobby, however. You may also register for any daily events! These include, but are not limited to, Capture Contests, Daily Challenges, Pokemon Contests, Tournaments, and Safari Zone participation! If you'd like, you could also sign up to work as a clerk! This means that visiting the lobby is a vital task even for the most determined Trainers focused solely on Pokemon Battling! Don't neglect it!

 6.
So, I'm sure you have your questions about this! Well, I'll try and answer some here. The lobby is mainly for IC role-play interaction between players. You know, discussing your exploits, playing around, sharing tips, forging friendships and rivalries, that kind of stuff. You can also trade, buy, and sell items and Pokemon from and to other players here. Registering for challenges, tournaments, and the like can be roleplayed out here if you'd prefer, but otherwise it's just implied that you registered when you sign up in the relevant thread. Most Pokemon are allowed to be out and about on the main floor, and you can interact with them as well, but you will be required to go to a specially designated area to release particularly large ones like Onix and Gyarados. Don't want to knock over anyone's coffee, after all! Those are also the areas where you display any Pokemon you want to put up for sale or trade. Selling, or rather, buying, Pokemon is something I'm personally very skeptical about, but we'll see how it goes. If things get too crazy, we may impose a limit of some sort on it.

 8. For battling, well, you ask another player for a battle! If they accept, you battle. Simple as that. Report to the Arena thread for that. When -watching- battles or contests, you can come into this thread and comment on them, in-character. It's much easier to do it this way than to clog up the actual battle threads.
