well, what can i say? my life has been largely unremarkable. it hasnt been a bowl of cherries but a hard life is common enough, so here goes. i grew up with a band of roaming gypsies, drifting from one village to the next, making coin as i could, either running one of the games tables we set up or by making wagers with the gathered crowds that of course i couldn't lose. ah well its the entertainment they pay for. until one day we were traveling through a desert and happened upon a camp of soldiers who were employed by some warlord or other and few of us survived that encounter, but i remembered hearing of a place we had bypassed called Gahlen, and so i doubled back the way we had came and here i am, with nothing more than hopes of a prosperous future.
