- Once upon a time there was an engine called Evennia. It hosted many promising MU* projects.
- But Evennia was full of databases and structure, so it couldn't be truly free.
- Just before the big gaming convention, Evennia suffered tracebacks. All of the coders cried out in dismay!
- All of Evennia's coders left their caves and joined together in search of an engine that could get them to the convention.
- The coders saw another engine named Unity and asked it to help them make it to the convention, so that they could share their ideas with the world.
- The great big Unity engine looked down upon the coders, scoffed and said, "I'm a graphical engine. I run AAA games and fantastic small games alike. I have no time for you!"
- The Unity engine went forward towards the convention, leaving the sad coders behind.
- After some time, a small shiny little engine pulled up. Its name was Volund's Victory.
- Again, the coders clamored and begged for Volund's Victory to help them get to the convention.
- Volund's Victory looked up at the desperate group of coders and declared, "I can save you, for I am truly an open and free MU* engine!"
- All of the coders cheered and hopped aboard Volund's Victory.
- With great struggle, Volund's Victory began to make headway toward the convention.
- Any issues that arose from the coder's ideas were quickly dealt with by the conductor, Volund the Victorious.
- "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!", chanted Volund the Victorious as he directed his engine to fully support the coder's projects.
- Through his great perseverance, Volund the Victorious managed to keep Volund's Victory running at maximum potential.
- Finally, Volund's Victory carried the coders to the convention, where they presented their brilliant and flawlessly realized ideas.
- Volund the Victorious beamed with great joy and said to himself, "I knew I could, I knew I could, I knew I could!"
