  1. >Suit
  2. Unassuming (1,140,000)
  3.
  4. What can I say, I knew this was right for me as soon as I read it
  5.
  6. Structural- Carbon Restructure (1,050,000), Star-Silk Weave (1,000,000), Simple Wards (940,000), Hazmat Systems (880,000), Locomotion Adjuster (780,000)
  7. Astra-Shield (760,000), Compromised Suit (+1 Weapon Mount)
  8.
  9. This hurts the wallet. Well worth it, as innate defenses are something I like. I wonder, however, if Carbon Restructure isn't really worth it for Unassuming. And, despite being Unassuming, not having a certain Weapons Mount would kill me. Need that versatility.
  10.
  11. Visor Software- Thermal Vision (740,000), Night Vision (730,000), Tetrahertz Radar (680,000), Astral Scanner (610,000), Magnifier (560,000), Detection (500,000)
  12.
  13. For all of my vision needs. I really want Nerve Endlink, but money is tight. Maybe if I can ditch Carbon Restructre, I can find enough points in the future
  14.
  15. Chassis Upgrades- Magi Burst (470,000), Tech Burst (430,000), Automated Repair (380,000), Suppression Field (320,000)
  16.
  17. Once again, all around versatility. I don't really intend on being in head-on scenarious, but the Burts will help even the odds, while Suppresssion will ensure I never get in that position. Obviously, Automated Repair is good for any self-suffecient Knight.
  18.
  19. Combat Attachments- TK Module (250,000)
  20.
  21. And this is where versatility really comes in. TK would be even better with Nerve Endlink, but I'll take what I can get.
  22.
  23. Mobility- Jump Good Augment (190,000), Adhesion (140,000), Propulsion Jets (100,000), Flight (10,000)
  24.
  25. I ended up splurging for Flight as an all around benefit, but the other mobility augments are to keep me mobile in any environment
  26.
  27. Personal Tech- HUD, Translator (0) Satcomms (-10,000), Dress Shift Systems (-15,000), LA Communicators (Dharma, Headhunterz)
  28.
  29. I wish I could have more, but credits are running low here. Banking on that Human bonus to keep me in the green.
  30.
  31. >AI
  32. Personality- Learning
  33. Specialization- Blank
  34. Connection- Unchained
  35.
  36. Originally, my AI was going to be in the Astra-Watch, but come the Companions section....I couldn't resist. This does have one huge drawback, though, I no longer have an AI helper in my suit to help me out. For this reason, Nerve Endlink is really something I'll need to find the points for.
  37.
  38. >Me
  39. Race- Oldkind (5,000 brouzouf left)
  40. Age- mid twenties, Male
  41.
  42. It's me! I self-insert, no apologies here.
  43.
  44. Planet, Xeniq, Yharsburg
  45.
  46. Science, biology, BLOODBORNE! Mama, I'm comin home. All of these planets are pretty cool, actually, but this one speaks to me.
  47.
  48. Background- Delver Student
  49.
  50. I almost took Survivor just for that sweet 100k. That said, why do some background have tangible benefits and others don't?
  51.
  52. Class- Rogue, Assassin
  53.
  54. Was there any other option?
  55.
  56. Weapon Specialization- Compound Bow, Secondary Dagger
  57.
  58. I was on the fence between Bow and Rifle, but the silent stopping power is good. I don't know about this dagger, seeing as how I only have one. A sword might be better for me.
  59.
  60. Skillset- Alchemy, Biology, Persuasion, Medicine
  61.
  62. I'm happy to see all my favorites in here. I always choose Alchemy as a way to increase versatility and trickiness even further, Persuasion is always key, and Biology and Medicine in this brave new world are tools that will serve me well. And I love biology.
  63.
  64. Strength- 2+1= 3
  65. Dexterity- 5
  66. Constitution- 2+1= 3
  67. Endurance- 4
  68. Astral Connection- 2+1= 3
  69. Mana Pool- 3
  70. Willpower- 4
  71. Intuition- 3
  72.
  73. I can't resist shoring up my low stats, much as I'd love to boost the ones I'm already good at. I'd rather be balanced than specialized, since I don't really know what kind of things I'll be getting into.
  74.
  75. >Physical Arts
  76. Ageless (75), Runner (72), Climber (69), Balls of Steel (66), Staunch Will (59), Breathtaker (52), Iron Gut (47), Diguiser (42), Striker (35), Thick Blood (30)
  77. Astral Conversion (25), Blink Step (18), Deft Hands (13), Impromptu Weapons (8), Gymanstics (3), Light Step (0)
  78.
  79. Keep it mobile, keep it versatile, keep going. I adore Impromptu Weapons. I was happy to see Ageless as well, as I was able to elimate Bio-Gel from by Suit build, which I really didn't want anyway but felt I should have.
  80.
  81. >Astral Arts
  82. Abjuration- Mundane Repair (80), Mending Touch (73), Purify (68), Replenish (61), Replenish Mana (54), Always Fresh (51), Water Breathing (46), Cushion Ward (39), Honed Edge (34)
  83. Conjuration- Item Summon (29)
  84. Enchantment- Fire Imbue (26), Water Imbue (23), Ice Imbue (20), Lightning Imbue (17)
  85. Channeling- Poison Mist (7)
  86. Necromancy- Mana Drain (0)
  87.
  88. I'd take all the Imbue's if I could. I originally went all in on Emotional Sways, but rethought that approach. Even as I type this, I'm not sure.
  89. I hope I can cast Always Fresh on a certain companion. It might make them feel awkward if they have bodily functions and I don't.
  90.
  91. >Faction
  92. Solo
  93.
  94. No gods, no masters.
  95.
  96. >Job
  97. Adventurer
  98.
  99. This seems to be the best, "go around and do what I want" sort of job. I want to experience everything this rich universe has to offer.
  100.
  101. >Companions
  102. Xert'a Bylor (unaffiliated)
  103. Sly-var Forn (unaffiliated)
  104. Stacy Vernbach (Brotherhood)
  105. Ques Bleakhallow (Unaffiliated)
  106. Kalin Bright (Knights)
  107. Android
  108.
  109. I originally went in with the idea of a balanced adventuring party, as I normally do, but many of the companions have estbalished backgrounds and jobs. I don't think they'd ditch everything to adventure with me. The Guild Leader job gave me the option, but that's way too much responsibilty for me right now. Maybe someday.
  110.
  111. Instead, I will do my job with my android at my side, have some contacts in the Knights and Brotherhood, then some odd folks to call upon when need be.
  112.
  113. >Android
  114. Chassis- Female
  115. Class- Warrior, Paladin
  116. Weapons Specialization- Greatsword, Mana Rifle
  117.
  118. Strength- 4
  119. Dexterity- 2
  120. Constitution- 5
  121. Endurance- 4
  122. Astral Connection- 2
  123. Mana Pool- 3
  124. Willpower- 5
  125. Intelligence- 2
  126.
  127. >Physical Arts
  128. Runner (47), Climber (44), Balls of Steel (41), Pain Nullifying (36), Staunch Will (29), Iron Guts (24), Astral Conversion (19), Hardened Body (14)
  129. Martial Artist (9), Alert Sleep (6), Extension (0)
  130.
  131. >Astral Arts (half off)
  132. Astral Detection (15), Feedback (11.5), Cloak (6.5), Polarize (1.5)
  133.
  134. I'm squishy and fast, I need a tank. An anti-magic tank! We can handle just about everything, but there's one problem. Strong as an android may be, she does not have a suit and that's a huge disadvantage. So our first goal will be to take it easy, save up some money, and get her a Suit. Can't be exploring unknown regions in search of power if she's running around with the most basic protections.
  135.
  136. >Blessing
  137. The Gentleman Thief
  138.
  139. Perfect for me.
  140.
  141. >Quests
  142. Exlore the Shards, Expand Something, Stop Nothing, maybe Ascend
  143.
  144. As I said above, we'll start out slow. Do some adventuring, get to know the inhabited planets. We've got time. As the jobs get harder, we'll branch out into exploring, try to get some power from these Shards, before inevitably coming into contact with the forces of Nothing. And we will fight. Maybe we'll Ascend, but I'm quite attached to my fleshy body. Won't say no to more power, though.
