- PROCEDURE FIRMWARE DOWNGRADE FOR MEDIA CENTER OF HONDA HR-V (2017-2018)
- PROCEDURE FOR DOWNGRADE BELOW MUST BE MADE ONLY IN CENTRAL MULTIMEDIA THE HONDA HR-V, 2017-2018 MODELS. USE ONLY FILE FOR DOWNGRADE, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CENTRAL OLD UPDATE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE FILE HERE PROVIDED IN CENTRAL MODELS OTHER MULTIMEDIA (CR-V, CIVIC, CITY, FIT ...). PROCEDURE SOFTWARE DOWNGRADE IS PERFORMED AT YOUR OWN RISK, ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INACCURATE PROCEDURES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR UPDATE ON INCONSISTENT WITH MODEL FILES AVAILABLE BELOW.
- TUTORIAL:
- 1- Make a reset to the original factory settings on your media center.
- 2- Prepare a stick for use in the procedure: FAT32 format.
- 3 Download the firmware RC6 (0E.xxx): CLICK HERE (MD5: 73957f3b81056bfccc521d143fa52025)
- 4 Copy the ZIP file directly into the stick. CAUTION: DO NOT unzip the file.
- 5- With the media center running, plug the flash drive into the USB slot 1 (the entrance on the left, closer to the driver). In case of any message on the screen saying ERROR USB, skip and cotinue the process to the next step.
- 6Restart the media center and keeping the POWER SCREEN LIGHTING buttons pressed for about 5 seconds, until the screen turns off.
- 7. After restart, starts the oldest firmware installation procedure on your switch. WARNING: THE PROCEDURE IS SLOW AND IN NO EVENT SHUT DOWN PROCEDURE OF THE MEDIA CENTER UPDATE. IF YOU TURN OFF THE CAR OR THE CENTRAL UPDATE THE MIDDLE, THE SOFTWARE INSTALLED WILL CORRUPT AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MEDIA CENTER BECAUSE THERE WILL BE NO MORE HOW TO START A NEW INSTALLATION PROCEDURE.
- 8. Once the procedure is completed, following message will appear on your station, remove the console USB drive and click Continue on the screen.
- 9-The panel will restart to complete the upgrade.
- 10- After the first start, make a new reset to the original factory settings.
- Ready! Its core is able to install applications again from CMDROID. Do not forget to enter the android settings and allow the installation of apps from unknown sources.
