  1. These are general trends that will be noted around the world following the end of the Dawn War. None of these are official, and there are obviously going to be situations much better or worse than listed here.
  2.
  3. Military Developments
  4. -A drawn out war with MIR that also involves large factions of machine-allied humans and automated ex-Soviet surplus against the Resistance.
  5. -Small wars against rogue machines and rogue cores (like the Free) that have become self-aware and self-determining; These are either completely eliminated, peacefully shut down, or (Possibly) integrate with human infrastructure and assist in rebuilding.
  6. -Resumption of brushfire wars between various human factions, particularly in Asia and Africa. Additionally, raider groups in North America and Europe become bolder and increase the frequency of attacks of caravans and travelers.
  7.
  8. Political Developments
  9. -The nominal establishment of a democratic world government centered in Australia, transitioning from the original framework for the Resistance Command. However, its authority is not universally accepted. This government begins to develop framework for smaller continental, regional, and district authorities. There is constant debate as to how much influence the Resistance military should have on government affairs, and how to select civilian representatives.
  10. -Enlistment into the Resistance Military declines, and many Resistance fighters formally leave the service to begin life as civilians.
  11.
  12. Social Developments
  13. -A gradual rise in anti-machine discrimination, specifically reprogrammed drones and former infiltrators that have become self-aware. There is also a counter-movement to grant some of these individuals "person" status. In later years, there will also be an abolitionist movement for surviving reprogrammed drones currently used as slave labor.
  14. -Urban centers such as Los Angeles are gradually reoccupied as rubble is cleared. Some Resistance units offer public works programs for restoration and reconstruction, partially assisted by reclaimed SkyNET technology.
  15. -Inconsistent supply availability leads to famine in multiple areas, though these are eventually curtained with the re-establishment of large scale agriculture.
  16. -A MASSIVE baby boom. The birthrate almost triples following the war. Despite persistent lack of proper medicine and care, human population rebounds within 50 years.
  17.
  18. Scientific Developments
  19. -A gradual investigation of captured SkyNET technology and scientific research, similar to Germany post-WWII. Many former human researchers are secretly offered amnesty in exchange for their cooperation.
  20. -SkyNET technology sees much more use by humans, and designs for non-military vehicles utilizing SkyNET propulsion and construction surface in later years.
  21. -Resistance astronomers begin to observe strange lunar activity, as well as an increase of transmissions between SkyNET's orbital communication satellites. However, their purpose is unknown. Suggestions that SkyNET has expanded into space are dismissed as pessimistic speculation. Nonetheless, the Resistance begins to increase priority on a secret space program that will eliminate SkyNET space objects.
