I have worked on programming projects involving Java, PHP, (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript (including AJAX), XML, and MySQL (and some knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL, DB2, and MongoDB) - as well as a business intelligence project involving ETL development (Informatica) among other things.

My main goal is to always keep learning and to teach others what I know. I'm an all-round type of guy who enjoys working on small things like making an algorithm more efficient but also on streamlining overall system architecture and making graphical user interfaces exactly as simple as they need to be.

I am very interested in internet marketing too - and have acquired a lot of knowledge about it over the years by learning from people like John Reese, Joel Comm, Mark Joyner, the Stompernet gang and more. Because of this, I like to keep the big picture in mind when developing applications and services. Needless to say, I also strive to make every web page I make as search engine friendly as possible.

I am also very familiar with both Windows and Mac OS X (including its UNIX side), and have some experience with Linux as well.

Even though my "main thing" is programming, I'm an avid photographer with a very solid knowledge of and experience with Adobe Photoshop. I'm also a big music lover, I even have an under-graduate degree in music with guitar as my main instrument.

I communicate well both orally and in writing in both Norwegian and English.
