* Islam discourages knowledge outside of itself (Koran 5:101-102) which is why most Muslim scholars are students of Islam, rather than science.

* Conquered populations were the source of “Muslim" science until they were gradually decimated by slaughter and forced conversion to Islam. Example: Muslims benefited greatly from the Greek sciences which were translated for them by their [Christian and Jewish slaves.](http://archive.is/zecBB)

* Many scientific advances credited to Islam were stolen from cultures conquered by the Muslims. Example: the algebraic concept of zero was [a Hindu discovery.](http://archive.is/KwrPj)

* Many "Muslim" scientists were considered heretics in their day. Example: the Persian scientist and philosopher, al-Razi. * “Muslim” achievements omit the true origins of their "discoveries," along with their comparative insignificance to the enormity of Western achievement. They don't mention the dark side, either. Example: Muslims brag about the observatory of Taqi al-Din in freshly-conquered Istanbul and neglect to mention that it was [quickly destroyed by the caliphate.](http://archive.is/wip/lgNlK)

* In 2005, Harvard University alone produced [more scientific papers than seventeen Arab countries combined.](http://archive.is/m3oiM)

* Muslims have produced only 2 Nobel laureates in science. [Both moved to the West.](http://archive.is/m3oiM)

*  Today’s Islamic "innovators" are better known for turning Western technology, such as cell phones and airplanes, into instruments of mass murder.

* The Muslim world has had little to show for itself in the last 800 years or so, since running out of new civilizations to cannibalize.
