Ruitomo impression

Ruitomo is an amazing story about its characters, their friendship, their relationship, and how those characters overcome the hardships that this cursed world --life-- tested upon them. And despite the main focus is the characters, the plot was also really good; it made the story of Ruitomo as a excellent harmony of fascinating characters and impressive plot. The Stories in each route has a different focus on the subject, and to certain degree, theme from each other. It make Ruitomo stories quite diverse with subjects presented on each heroine route, and Ruitomo did a remarkable job on that. Although it's not the main theme of the story, I think Ruitomo did a really good job as an excellent thriller-mystery story. But all in all, Ruitomo is a story about curse.

For the writing, it was absolutely impressive. I already said that I liked Hino's writing a lot in Hello Lady, and I would say that I really liked his writing in Ruitomo, too. It's probably less descriptive in Ruitomo, but oh boy, his writing is thought-provoking and beautiful as always. There's a lot of criticism and profound messages toward society, system, and life in the writing of Ruitomo. I found the messages in Ruitomo really relatable with my everyday life, that I'm really glad I read Ruitomo.

Now the characters. It's undeniable that the characters were the most important aspect on this vn, and it was truly impressive. All characters in Ruitomo are fascinating. The grow of the characters development as the story progress, and particularly in their own route, was remarkable The fact that they always present and play a role in a route that isn't theirs is already amazing enough. However, I think that the best thing in the characters of Ruitomo is about how their "alliance" overcome all the hardships that the curse and this cursed world gave to them. All the main characters were like a mine, that ready to explode anytime and anywhere when there's something that touch them, And I think that their interaction with outside world and how they maintain their relationship with a fellow 'ally' and outside world in order to keep survive is one of the interesting part of this story. It's a really interesting when everyday life could be the matter of life and death for those characters. And so, It's hard to talk about Ruitomo without talking about all of the (main) characters.

Visual and character design is good. I liked Hokuto's art in Ruitomo better than in Hello Lady tbh. Music is great.

Overall, I enjoyed Ruitomo so much. Both the main title and the FD were amazing. It was one of the few works that changed the way I view and have effect on me personally. I'm gonna miss this visual novel so much. It was a wild ride and a really nice experiences. It was amazing.
