Dee's First Day of School Meeting Killian

[19:39] Killian Levieur asks, "Ah, hey. You new around here? Don't think I've seen you around, looking to apply?"
[19:39] "Thank you Killian.." The Drakanite said and then stood up. She eyed the new arrival, taking it as a queue to leave. She had to write the letter... And get back to safety within the mountains. Even though his words had eased the worst of her suspicions, she still took precautions of bad luck seriously...

Besides.. She needed to find Howl.

"I will update you when I can. And by the way.. Can you have a look at Toratori? I am not sure if his wound got purified from someone else in Osronan. It might have festered as well.."

[19:40] Killian Levieur says, "Bring him to me at some point and I'll fix him up, good luck Ka-Tula."

[19:40] Killian Levieur says, "And follow me, I can try and find you a teacher who can help you."
[19:40] Dee says, "...Better not be that damn cat."
[19:40] Killian Levieur asks, "Do you mean Jericho?"
[19:40] Dee asks, "Who?"
[19:41] Killian Levieur says, "You mentioned a cat, I assumed you meant him. Green hair Felinae man."
[19:41] Dee says, "Yea, that's the one."
[19:41] Killian Levieur asks, "I see, what happened with him?"
[19:41] Dee says, "Nothing, that's the problem. Cat's are lazy, always sleeping when they should be doing something."
[19:42] Killian Levieur says, "...He's had a pretty busy day today to his credit. He had to patch up a lot of students this morning."
[19:43] Dee says, "I guess that make's sense."
[19:43] Dee asks, "So what're you? Like a janitor or something?"
[19:43] Killian Levieur says, "Damn, bummer. Ariel is only a tutor so she can't sign you up. Seems like you already tried Jericho, Rosemarin is probably in the hospital..."
[19:44] Killian Levieur says, "Senior actually."
[19:44] Naleo Bloodvaine says, "Question."
[19:44] Killian Levieur says, "Graduate in a few months."
[19:44] Killian Levieur asks, "Ah, yeah?"
[19:44] Naleo Bloodvaine asks, "Have either of you seen the headmaster?"
[19:44] Killian Levieur says, "Not today, been lookin for him."
[19:44] Dee says, "Eh? Well congrats."
[19:44] Naleo Bloodvaine asks, "Question, have you seen the headmaster?"
[19:45] Naleo Bloodvaine says, "Trying to enroll."
[19:45] Dee says, "This place is huge."
[19:45] Killian Levieur says, "Thanks, and it seems that nobody is really around to help you enroll, but I can still try and answer any quetions you got or show you some stuff."
[19:45] August says, "Mm. I'm afraid I have not. There is a class going on to your left, you may be able to ask the teacher inside there."
[19:46] Naleo Bloodvaine says, "Ill head inside."
[19:46] Dee rubbed her chin; deeep in thought.

[19:46] Killian Levieur says, "And the place used to be bigger if you could believe. We had three extra dormitories that got torn down."
[19:47] Dee asks, "Why? Not enough students? What dormitories are left? What classes are being taught?"
[19:51] Killian rubs the back of his head at that. "Well ahh, so yeah about that. I joined up around the time they started getting torn down. Basically the short version is last generations alumni all got into a massive fight at the graduation party, and that caused a bunch of political tension and shit."


"Bunch of people pulled funding, though we still had plenty left over, nobles of varying factions got pissy so we had less students after that. We just ended up having to much dorm space, though recently the Academy is starting to recover. It'd be a bit more lively on days where there wasn't a massive fight earlier." He says that last part under his breath.



"As for classes? Mostly self paced, there are plenty of teachers and tutors that come by to give guest speeches, but most hyper specific stuff? You'll wanna speak with the teachers so they can get you a one on one. That or they'll point you to someone they know who can show you a few things."

[19:51] Dee ears twtiched idly as they stared at Killian.

[19:58] Dee's attention never shifted as they stared up at Killian. They took in what was offered with a vague expression of disappointment. Something about the previous class causing a massive drop in the academies quality left her feeling vaguely offended. As if they're actions were a personal slight against her.

"Sounds like the last batch of morons nearly ruined it all for the rest of us. I heard there was, like, gangs sanctioned by the school. Is that what caused it?" Her lips pursed pausing briefly. "That's fine, I'm not concerned all that much with what is actually being taught. Actually, you look vaguely like a... Can ya' heal people?" There was a flash of annoyance that crossed her expression as she asked.

"My younger brother broke his arm being an idiot."

[19:59] Killian Levieur says, "Well, they weren't gangs really. That's a way to look at it I suppose, but they were different houses that competed. It was supposed to create healthy competition."
[19:59] Killian Levieur says, "Didn't quite work out."
[20:00] Dee asks, "So, no more gangs?"
[20:00] Killian Levieur says, "But yeah, I'm a med student. Not fully licensed but I've fixed....many broken bones actually in my time. Like a lot."
[20:00] Killian Levieur says, "And yeah, the houses are gone at this point."
[20:02] Killian Levieur says, "I'm sure if you point me to your brother I can help get him fixed up, Jericho is tired but he's always ready to heal someone in need. He can supervise and I'll do the actual treatment, works out for everybody."
[20:04] Dee says, "Wonderful."
[20:04] Dee says, "Now to just find the idiot."
[20:04] Viola Aune asks, "which idiot are you looking for?"
[20:05] Killian walks outside with Dee in tow. "Hey Jericho, we got a kid with a broken arm. Do you mind supervising me while I treat him? I've set broken bones before. I know you're tired but I just need you to watch."

[20:06] Killian Levieur asks, "Aight, so...where exactly was your brother last uh...shit I didn't get your name. Killian Levieur, yourself?"
[20:07] Dee asks, "Dee Angelos, my brothers Cerys. He's... Somewhere?"
[20:07] Killian Levieur says, "Cerys...I've definitely heard that name before at least. Oh well, let's go have a look around."
[20:07] Dee rubbed the back of her neck looks like it was time to hunt them down!

[20:11] Dee asks, "When you said lets have a look around you weren't kidding. What are you some kinda saint?"
[20:12] Killian Levieur says, "Well, I wouldn't say that but I guess some people would. I did sorta take an oath for this kind of thing. Besides, I wasn't doing anything besides practicing my poisons."
[20:12] Dee says, "..."
[20:12] Dee asks, "Did you say practicing your poisons?"
[20:13] Killian Levieur says, "Yes, paralytics."
[20:13] Jericho says, "Didn't take you the sort for those."
[20:13] Killian Levieur says, "Also anti venoms and such."
[20:13] Dee says, "You can't back out now Killroy."
[20:13] Killian Levieur says, "It's relevant to me because I'm a nature magi, so I need to understand how those things work."
[20:14] Dee asks, "Who you paralyzing? Whose hurt you?"
[20:14] Killian Levieur says, "Also...Ethric kinda gave me the idea."
[20:14] Killian Levieur says, "Ah, I should clarify...I'm practicing them for my poison magic."

[20:15] Jericho says, "Poison magic, really have no clue sometimes."
[20:15] Killian Levieur says, "Easier to beat your opponents when they can't feel their muscles you know? If I ever do have to fight."
[20:15] Dee says, "I didn't think about it that way."
[20:16] Killian Levieur says, "It's mostly because its tangential to my Nature magic like I said...I'm a Biotics specialist first and foremost, and a Holy practioner in a very close second."
[20:16] Jericho says, "Ah, yeah. I understand."
[20:16] Killian Levieur says, "Well we gave it our best shot more or less. Unless he's in Achyon I got no clue where he is."
[20:16] Dee says, "Well... Anyways, thanks for looking for him."
[20:16] Jericho says, "He should show up again."
[20:16] Dee says, "He's probably off trying to be a Pirate or soemthing."
[20:16] Killian Levieur says, "Sorry about that Jericho, assumed he would be nearby. I'll let you know when he shows up."
[20:17] Jericho says, "Of course,no worries."
[20:17] Killian Levieur asks, "Pirate? What does he wanna join Reave's crew or something?"
[20:17] Dee shrugged.

[20:17] Dee says, "He's not very smart."
[20:18] Killian Levieur says, "So you've mentioned. Never spoke with the guy personally before."
[20:18] Dee says, "You should then. "
[20:18] Jericho says, "Hope he's safe at least."
[20:18] Killian Levieur says, "So why did you come to the Academy? What exactly is it you're hoping to learn, you seemed sorta...ambivalent to what was being taught."
[20:20] Dee says, "I came to keep an eye on Cerys. The whole... Education angle is a means to that."
[20:20] Killian Levieur asks, "Ah, so you got no real aim of being a powerful Magi or anything?"
[20:20] Dee says, "I didn't say that."
[20:21] Dee says, "I'll be powerful, hel, probably the strongest."
[20:21] Dee asks, "What does that have to do with classrooms?"
[20:22] Killian Levieur asks, "Fair enough, guess you didn't. I hope that turns out to be the truth, honestly. You seem confident in that fact, you train under somebody before?"
[20:22] Dee says, "No, no one."
[20:22] Dee pursed her lips, tapping an index finger against them for a moment.

[20:23] Dee says, "Weeeee- Yea, nah, they didn't teach me nothin'."
[20:24] Killian Levieur says, "Huh, interesting. Well that confidence will certainly carry you a long way, but I wouldn't exactly discount what the school has to offer. A lot of it a bit more physical than you might expect. Last week we had a sort of war game type thing, where everyone represented a chess piece. It was half a combat trial, half strategy."
[20:24] Killian Levieur says, "There's a good mix of book stuff and more hands on events, and you can sorta jsut...not come to the ones you aren't interested in."
[20:26] Dee says, "That sounds cooler than I expected and the fact I can just ditch classes is a plus! Here I thought ya'll would be more strict."
[20:28] Xuelian Bei-Feng says, "Class must still be going."
[20:28] Killian has a glazed over deadpan look for a few moments. "Sometimes I wish they were a bit more strict...they're a bit too lax sometimes. That's how we end up with things like students coming back cursed because they went into the Mire when they shouldn't...or fighting at graduation...or have kids deal drugs in the sewers."


He lets out a sigh of relief. "Ashcea's light, I'm glad Alexei and Charlie graduated...they were to sole suppliers of Sylvanum here."
