Ebonbloom Acquisition

While scaling the steep cliffs of the mountain, a particularly deep crag catches your eye. It looks fairly normal, and you don't know what draws you to it, but drawn you are, so you make your way over to it and peer in. In the midst of the gloom, you spot a faint metallic glint, shimmering like a far-off star.

Your [hand] reaches in and contacts something thin and delicate. A few more probing touches don't reveal anything more about the object, so you decide to carefully pull it from its resting spot. As you draw it out, it becomes clear that the item in question is a flower, but there's something strange about it.

When you pull it out into the light, you're blinded for a moment by the sharp reflections it gives off. Shielding your [face], you quickly stow the flower in your [pouch] before it can do any lasting damage. It's lucky it was left in such a dark place, but who left it there in the first place? In any case, maybe you'll be able to find a use for this odd find elsewhere...
