[08:40] Shai Oshura exclaims, "Nope!"
[08:40] Ashera Ixis says, "And thats not how this is going to work."

[08:40] Nasu Ixis Kimyona exclaims, "Be greatful I brought you three here!"

[08:41] Ashera Ixis says, "Yes."

[08:41] Lucien idly acts like he's going to tip a hat. But he's not wearing a hat. So he doubles down and rolls a hand through his hair.

[08:42] Familial bickering, suicidal intents and a host of other stupids.

All the while a certain Voss makes the mistake of approaching within seeing range. Shai smiles, the Earth erupting across Lucien to create a barrier to his escape. "Why hello there." She comments, her gaze scrutinizing his crimson eyes. "I'm afraid, with a little luck, this will be the end of the line for you."

She pulls out her blade, holding it in both hands.

"Ready to die~?"

[08:43] Aaliyah Ixis whispers something.
[08:44] Shai Oshura whispers: Only my own.
[08:44] Aaliyah Ixis whispers something.
[08:45] Her right hand raises as she began to drawn Glyphs...

One two - as the first circle is drawn, the second is quickly on its way... However, something beats in her chest... A dark power that resides in her very spirit that Ramsey's minion has placed there... As her hand scratches into the air, leaving a golden trail behind, the trail pulsated...

Dark chaotic energies move from within her form to corrupt the glyphs, causing them to quiver and fall apart...

"Well.. Not catching up to him in my style... Guess I'll just have to try another way." She sniffed... Her hand raising to grab her staff and tap its head on the surface of the ground... Crystals began to sprout across Shai's own barrier, enhacing them and allowing more crystals to bloom around the forest...

"Gonna give it a shot at least."

[08:46] Lucien's pale flesh and crimson gaze marks him pretty obvious as a vampire. He hovers effortlessly in the air, knees pulled idly upwards as to avoid covering his boots in dirt and muck. He's not even attempting to be stealthy as he floats past, only to be stopped by the group beside of him. By the dull smirk on his lips, it's barely a minor annoyance.

"I will be honest with you, I do not get my kicks by slaughtering random passersby any longer. I've much more important things to do. Like gather poppylus from the Maplegrave, for instance." His eyes wander towards the south, and his head cants to one side. He hums, gently, delicately, as if he were in such a calm and non threatening position..

..But his eyes land upon Ashera, almost curiously.

"Perhaps that one knows who I am and what I am capable of. My name is Lucien V. Voss, and I am really. Really. Not in the mood for this right now. In my pack, I have a smoke bomb, and again- Should you attempt to catch up to me, I will escape. And should one of you manage to outwit me, which is unlikely, you will die. Horribly. I am trying to save your lives. Look at me, ever the Saint."

His lips pull into a frown for a moment, and he shifts position. His boots land upon the dirt, causing a small spray of dirt and dust to fly about him. The utterly massivesawblade of Arcanium upon his back clinks idly against armor hidden beneath flowing robes, and he sighs, quietly.. Which expels a dull puff of venom into the air.

"So. Are we not going to handle this like civil, well meaning adults? Are you all so eager to hunt down a monster that you would strike down a reasonable man? Or should I give you the monster that you hunt?"

[08:48] "If it weren't for me going out here regardless we wouldn't be given someone to take in! A vampire isn't enough to avenge Anise but this will still be an accomplishment!" He stares to his family members, gritting his nyeshk gauntlets.

He raises one up as if itwere a boxing glove, his other hand forms a fiery sword, shaped by Nasu's control of heat, it blazed brightly and seemed solid despite being fire. All the condensed heat made it rather explosive.

His feet sizzles and scotches the ground and he'd certainly try to pursue the Voss.

The kitsune takes on the ifirt stance, his fiery aura burning brighter with the passion he held deep inside him, he'll try and kill this vampire with all he got.

"Give the monster that we hunt, fight all you want but you will pay for your crimes, your very existence being that crime!"

[08:48] Shai Oshura whispers: I've fought one before. It'll take at least two of us to beat one of its kind...
[08:48] Shai Oshura whispers: If two of us fail to catch up to it we should retreat.
[08:49] Aaliyah Ixis whispers something.
[08:49] Ashera would slowly grab her blade pulling it free from her sheathe. If she was going to have to deal with a vampire, she would have attempted to hunt obsidian sooner. Though this isn't the main goal.... She is certainly ready for a fight against corruption.

Ashera would slowly connect herself towards the lifestream. Charging up ebbing energy around her. She would look towards the vampire with absolute disgust. And would prepare herself to uphold the act of justice.

"Lucien Voss, you are responsible for multiple attacks involving the death of the citizens of huangzhou. Your actions will be met with punishment. How does one plead?"

Ashera would continue to hold her ground. Much more ready to deal with Lucien despite the threats he had given. She would prepare her armor and blade. And would attempt to catch the evil being.

[08:49] Aaliyah Ixis says, "Ew a Genderswap? Please, you may be charming but that just ruined it."
[08:53] He sighs, rather loud enough for the entire group to hear. In a flash of rainbow light, the arcanium blade is drawn from its scabbard upon his back and held as if it were weightless in a singular hand. The crimson aura that details all vampires takes him for a few moments, and he narrows his eyes slowly upon the group.

"Very well. I wish you all the best of luck in catching up to me. And should it only be one of you who does so, I wish you the best of luck.. Because as it would have it, it's been so very long since I've fed. And the smell of fear that's soon to fill the air, well.."

The crackling red aura about Lucien glows ever more brightly, almost as if it alights him aflame. The very world around him trembles as his vampiric glow ascends into something much more horrific, a wildfire of blood-red that colors the entirety of the wooded region they found themselves in.

"..It's almost enough to make me lose myself, isn't it?"

And without much affair- And no smoke bomb to speak of!! - He launches himself into the woods, awaiting those who would follow.

[09:00] Shai stopped.

Her eyes shifted over the reddened Aura that surrounded the creature of Kane. It sent ripples - Waves of malice through the air. She bites her lip, knowing that feeling inside of herself. "Well, this is going to be..." She smiles now, her grin growing wide.

"Fun."

[09:12] What fun!

What incredible fun this was!

Again she had cornered a vampire. But instead of it being a mimic that was as occult maddened as they come, it was Ashera by her side. A woman who's failures continued to punish her. "Run, little vampire, run~" She laughs as the duo of women start impaling him to the ground with marble embraces.

Across the vampires form strikes would blow.

So fragile, so weak. But its strength? Shai is knocked back, a blow impacting against her chest. It stung and radiated out pain - Forcing her to envelop her form in mist to escape the onslaught. Vampires were fragile when you got up to them. But just like the book said -

They had more strength behind their blows than she ever would.

A barrier of light surrounds her as she gets close, whacking the vampire behind the head as he deals with Ashera. "Stand still you bloodsucker!" She yellled, charging towards the dodging creature. With one bigstrike she pummels against its body, knocking it backwards.

"You won't be touching maplegrove again, freak!" She crashes her blade against the ground, making his footing unstable. A wide grin filled with malice creeps onto her lips again as she looks at Ashera. "You want to kill it first? I already have my targets." She chuckled.

"Neo is mine."

[09:26] At once.. the enemy vampire that had came towards as was as corrupt as could be. As Ashera would slowly delve into her deepened state. As her focus would allow her to draw life energy around her and a strengthened pace. The enemy had sin magic, And Ashera would feel the Constant buzzing sound emanating corrupted energy around her.

Ashera's blade would glow brightly as she had deepened her focus. Her resolve to protect not only the others around her, but to remove the corruption from before her. She would Pin the vampire to the ground with marble grasp. Using her new found arcane attunement to bolster the strength of her attacks.

Ashera would continue to have the fight against the vampire hitting it all that she had from within. She would dash towards the child of kane, moving with constant strikes, and moving swiftly at the speed that rivaled the vampires own.

Though the vampire had proven to become a devastating match for Ashera. As the vampire did have weaker defenses, the enemy before her had certainly made up for it in physical strength and speed, As Ashera would find herself having to use her defensive magic to keep up with the enemy before her.

Ashera would attempt to try to use the ability once more. She would channel the life energy directly from the lifestream, and as well as the stars above. Slowly but efficiently charging what is to be a blast of Arcane.

Lucien Voss!

The Krausite Paladin would scream, showing her unyielding will to continue on forth, fighting to defeat those that corrupt the lifesteam.

"You WILL be Judged!"

And as an opening was given for her. She would quickly tap into the arcane, tapping into it once more, and displacing the energy around it. imposing her will on the physical realm. The displacement would echo across the battlefield, As the vampire would be send back by the blast.

"Maplegrove will NOT be corrupted by your presence. And you will truly face judgement for the actions against the people that reside in huangzhou. I promise it."

And as the vampire fled, she and the group would leave.

[09:37] It's not as if Lucien is entirely proactive in his movements. He takes the brunt of blows where he should have dodged, his form is slammed into with the weight and power of the two before him. Each blow that strikes him almost seems to be simply shrugged off, blood ebbing from wounds before they seem to simply.. Heal?

As if each of the attacks hadn't mattered, those very wounds would slowly reform flesh and skin and bone, and surrounded by the bloody aura of crimson flame, he'd almost appear to be an impossible being, an entity of death and mayhem that cared not for wounds and would strike back twice as hard as they could manage..

..And yet, bleed he still does. Lucien's claws and sawblade find their mark time and time again, and yet each time one would find themselves in a potentially dangerous scenario, the other would come to his rescue. His body moves with the speed and grace of a predator, a monster that had no equal. His very presence was monstrous.. In fact, he had 'given them the monster' they had requested.

And yet, even as monstrous as this form was, even as horrifying as Lucien had become, it was clear that he was being overpowered. He barely manages to sidestep a blow from Shai, though not entirely. It pushes him back just enough for Ashera to launch an assault of Arcane and Order, and he finds himself caught in it..

..If only for a moment.

In a flash of crimson red light, Lucien's entire body almost appears to dissipate into bloody smoke. He's still pushed backwards from the wave of arcane, but it's almost more akin to him gliding along it, using it to push him to the edge of the forest. When he reforms, his flesh is unmarred and perfect, his robes are flowing and beautiful. His grin is wide and honest, and his claws drip with bits of blood. His own? Perhaps.. He wasn't sure himself.

"Corrupting the Maplegrove. I'm quite sure I've no idea what you're talking about." The aura about him slowly fades, and his smirk begins to fade as well. He exhales again, slowly, and a hand comes to idly brush off his clothing. It's very clear that, even despite the theatrics, he was tired, winded, and covered in his own blood. One could scarcely call this a victory.

"I'd give you all of my titles to remember, but I am certain you'd slit my throat by the time I got them all out. So I advise next time you charge at a foe, you read a history book and remember the name.

Lucien. Vasile. Voss. The King. The Ascendant."

And, with a hand gently placing itself upon his chest, and a weary sigh, he almost seems to vanish without a trace, the bloody red glow vanishing from the forests, the air calming down.

Perhaps they wouldn't even notice, but as if a horrid predator had been vacated from the area, the birds would begin chirping, the animals would resume their normal lives..

..Just what was that man?
