					Seeing that Ethan's body was somewhat fragile than most, he sought to better himself by coming up with a way to avoid unnecessary damage upon his body. For a task such as this, he needed a quiet place to concentrate his energy without any interruptions. Once he arrived at the mountain, he could now concentrate on his energy and try to manipulate it to his will. Ethan would stand atop  of a cliff, as his breathes became deep. His energy would slowly seep out of his body, creating a blue glowing aura surrounding it. Focusing on the flow and manipulation of his energy, he began to expand it outwards slowly and carefully. If he were to rush it, the energy would disperse and drain his stamina rapidly. After a few hours, Ethan had expanded the energy at a reasonable length and began to solidify it around him.  The length of the shield was big enough to avoid contact with his body, as well as maintain it without using much of his energy reserves. Now that he was successful with his method, he needed to test it out strength of the shield. Quickly he retracted the energy back within him, and launched a large orb of destructive energy atop of him. He'd simply repeat the shielding method, and controlled the orb to strike his shield. A large explosion would leave the cliff in ruins, only to have Ethan floating where the land was once there. Ethan would pant out of exhaustion from blocking such a large attack, but nonetheless he was successful on creating the technique.
