  1. ■ Character Name: Iksie
  2. ■ Character Race: Serpentman Entertainer
  3. ■ Character Age: A few hundred, whatever equates to being around the 25ish/younger adult marker of their seemingly immortal kind.
  4.
  5. ■ Where are they from (what Nationality)? Where were their parents from (and, if they're not from the same nation, how did they meet)? Where was your character raised (what nation, and what city/village/region)?
  6.
  7. Iksie was born of a desert nest in Stygia. They were not born with learning which was focused on combat due to the relative safety of the land and large size of the nest. Instead, they were versed in reciting oral traditions and being a supportive member of Set's worship in the area. Their parents were born at a more early part of the next, leaving them to be one of the originator priests. They were very much isolated from humanity as a whole and never left the nest.
  8.
  9. ■ What kind of upbringing did they have? Were they wealthy or poor? Were their parents tradesmen? Farmers? Nobility? How did that influence your character's view on the world, and on other people (both those that were better-off than themselves, and those who were worse off)?
  10.
  11. They were relatively well off within their nest. Not quite rich but they did not struggle at all and often have enough luxury to enjoy trinkets, books and other things brought in. They were educated within the Nest and due to this powerful isolation, they know nothing of experience to the outside world but rather just that they are the greatest and that all else should bow to them.
  12.
  13. ■ What skills and talents does your character have? What are one or two things they're really good at? ■ What weaknesses does the character have? What character flaws do they possess that has influenced their lives, and the lives of those around them?
  14.
  15. Iksie's upbringing and resources ensure the serpent has had a good tutorage and gotten to spend a great deal of their life on things which are considered more luxury since as dance, speech and the various wisdoms of such an ancient, yet comfortable nest. They are quite healthy, lithe and tall.
  16.
  17. This isolation and their lack of combative powers however makes them very anxious and afraid of the outside world. They have not ever been without naturally and so they are much quicker to surrender if it means their life is saved over being killed off. Such a long life span and yet such a young age does incredible fear to the psyche. They are also likely more susceptible to tricks and even trust if it is earned without having to be experienced in telling such things. They would also be quite willing to sell out others for their own growth and protection or to make an escape to live another day. This does not pair well with their ego and boastful speech which can lure such problems on.
  18.
  19. In the end, the impulsive desire to live and never die drives them to be incredibly stupid and even submissive to a fault until the time is right to rise back up.
  20.
  21. ■ What god(s) do they worship? How do they exhibit or demonstrate their faith?
  22. Iksie is a believer in Set and makes that other people's problem. IF they don't believe in Set, they will do whatever is in their power to make them think otherwise. While not direct, they also aim to take down any forms of Mitra worship in the land and will honor the priests of their kin and help ensure the faith grows before all else (Except when it would mean their own demise.)
  23.
  24. ■ What does your character look like? Describe them (ex: tall, short, skin tone, hair colour, eye colour, unusual scars/markings/features, etc - this should line up with their Nationality).
  25. Iksie is a very tall, lithe white snake with a darker tone under the scales and across the face. They are not very strong, but if you tossed them to the ground, their very narrow form would come off like giant snake. They look incredibly alien and yet considerably beautiful among their kind for that very reason.
  26.
  27. ■ How would your character react to non-humans, like demons, tieflings, and shapeshifters?
  28.
  29. Humans: 0/5 - Hears they are the bringers of downfall and an imperialist plague that must be stomped out. They wouldn't trust these bastards at all even if it were to help them outside of those shown to be faithful members of Set who can expect at least some degree of warmth/notice but only until it benefits them to do otherwise.
  30.
  31. Fae-Blooded: 2/5 - Considers them above humans and more as a product of nature, but a bastardization that could pose a risk. Finds them perhaps supernatural enough to really stand out but not quite in a good light.
  32.
  33. Tiefling: 2.5/5, Finds their inhuman appearance to be rather comforting. It is not quite as they are, but it is a far step up and exotic enough to peak their interest of study.
  34.
  35. Half-Giant: 0.5/5, Large humans who likely are just as non-set faithful as the others. They may have tusks and other things to stick out but they wouldn't put a lot of trust on something that could rip them in half as a half-giant could.
  36.
  37. Goblins: 3/5, Dark, gross-looking creatures who seem harmless but useful as fodder. Has quite a liking for them as a means to get a job done.
  38.
  39. Snakemen: 5/5, Kin are the greatest! Memories of the home Nest fill their very heart.
  40.
  41. Shapeshifters: Varies/5, Mammals, poorly. Non-mammals, moderately, Snakes and other reptiles, highly.
  42.
  43. Vampire: ?/5, Has never learned or dealt with them. This race is a wild card of which they would mold their thoughts over the entire race on what is learned icly and from first impressions of them.
  44.
  45. Werewolves: 1/5, Same as a mammal shifter, but it's worse.
  46.
  47. Demon: 3.5/5, Much like tieflings except they are even more wild and supernatural. Incredibly curious of them and thinks they could outwit.
  48.
  49. Fae: 3.5/5, Very much like Demons above except they see them as a true force of nature. Less curious and more just giving them a bit of a priority pass.
  50.
  51. ■ What are their goals? (Short and long term)
  52.
  53. My goal with Iksie is to play a Snakeman who has gotten captured and sent to this island but really lacks a good grasp on the world outside of their little blip on the world. I want to play them as an egotistic brat who will cause problems for friend and foe alike with the intent to rise up to damn near nobility status on the island as far as that exists through all means necessary.
  54.
  55. Their biggest goal however is to just survive the odds of being a snakeman in this kind of game (and hopefully flourish!)
