- Shrugging off what he had done though, Nerian would continue back on to his own set of training. Yes it would be hard as he knew of nothing to do but hunt. So maybe that is just what he would do.
- Gripping his black spear with only his right hand as he left had hung freely about the air. Gently being blown by the soft air being pressed against it. Nerian would begin to look out into the distance to find something of interest.
- After the weird meeting with Hanzo. He took it upon himself to do something with himself and go get some practice in before retiring home.
- (Nerian)
- It seemed as if luck would be about him as he started to head over to the cliff side. Stopping himself before the edge. If he dared to stop a second later. He would be up and over and probably wouldn't be able to walk after such a fall.
- A swift breath would escape from his lips as he gazed out into the horizon. It seemed as if something of interest would catch his eye.
- Indeed it wouldn't be an average sight as Nerian had seemed to catch a Boar roaming about below the slope. Just treading about the forest floor as if it had not one care in the world.
- A sadistic smile would prompt up on his lips as he looked down at the creature with the eyes of a murderer. He wanted to prove to his mother that he was ready and prepared to take down such a beast. Espcially when she had told him multiple times not to take on the beast. As it was more dangerous than rabbits and the lot. Yes it was one of the more fiercer creatures. But Nerian felt that he was ready, and surely he was prepared for the encounter
- (Nerian)
- Taking a small leap off the cliff side. He began to hit the side of the slope. But instead of rushing downwards as he would most likey do under the watch of his mother. He took a more safe route. As he didn't have anyone looking after him if he were to have a fatal fall. Or make a terrible mistake. So he took his time while he attempted to move swiftly down the hill.
- Jumping from rock to rock. He would surely take his time to make sure that he was safe as he headed downwards, only to finally to be a few more hops from the ground.
- Nerian would begin take a breather. As the descent had seemed to be more taxing than usual. Which was weird for him. Maybe because he had grown a few inches and he gained a bit more weight? Maybe because it was that his mind was still on his encounter with that Hanzo man. Who knew?
- As he finally got his barings. Nerian would take another leap of faith to another flat grounding that he saw further down the cliff side. Having his eyes stuck on the safety of the ledge. He would begin to think that he could rush things now that he was so close to the ledge. But that was his down fall as he landed on the flat ground. He would begin to take another step to hop down off that ledge to aim downwards to the other few. Only to his demise, is that once his foot had left the flat surface. The hold beneath his foot would collapse underneath his feet. Causing him to fall downwards towards the slope side.
- Dammit!
- At first, it had seemed as if he had the power to desend quickly downward to later pursue the Boar. But what happened instead. Was the feeling of a person trying to sit down on a chair but a douche bag pulling the chair from under the person to cause them to fall on their butt. But instead of it being a chair. It was a foot holding, and instead of it being your butt. It was your entire body.
- Now rolling down hill, Nerian tucked in his head within the protection of both his arms as he pulled his legs up. Causing him to bounce up and down before he finally came to a stop at the ground with an eruption of dust exploding at his wake.
- (Nerian)
- Cough Cough Cough
- "Ughh. . . ." Nerian would moan as he painfully pulled himself up to a stand. It wouldn't be any longer for him to get up on all fours and take a good look at himself.
- His body ached all over, and he had a wet feeling on his right fore-arm.
- Blood. .
- It had to be. It wasn't raining today, and it hadn't rained the day before. So it had to be. Plus no pool would suddenly appear out of no where from the slope. Only that it could with the manipulation of the elements. Which did get his mind bogglign with questions.
- What else could you manipulate? Was it just elements or could it be something more?! It was an interesting topic for him. Yes. But that wasn't the most important matter right now. He had to go find that dang boar!
- Coughing a bit more. Nerian would force himself to a stand. Which did involve a series of coughing and groaning. But he had to get it done. He would begin to head off towards the forest. Only to remember that he didn't have his black spear anymore.
- Cursing silently, Nerian would head back towards the base of the cliff to scavange the land for his spear. Which surprisingly didn't take long due to the black pole and the snow white tip. Which he would gladly reach for and pick it up with one hand before rushing back out into the forest to the last place that he had seen the boar
- (Nerian)
- Running out at a certain distance. Nerian would soon find himself lost. As all tracks for the boar had disappear. Which frustrated him greatly. He done all of that struggling to only fall off the cliff and badly wound his right fore arm. Which he was afraid to confront his mother about. Unless. . . Unless he could come home with that Boar!
- Now burning with new determination. Nerian would begin to think of new ways or methods as to how he could track the boar. Tracking its prints? The thought would soon bloom about his mind before he realized that there was multiple tracks within the ground. Ontop of that. He was never taught, nor did he ever learn how to spot tracks of specific animals. All he saw was a complex mix of different animal tracks. Which confused him the longer he looked at it.
- So he had to go back to the drawing board. He was an Ookami. There had to be something that could benefit him from his conquest. Which was quite obvivous. But he couldn't help but ponder about what he could do.
- After minutes of what seemed to be thinking about ways to find the boar. He knew that he was giving the creature time to run away. Which bothered him greatly. Causing his brainstorming to intensify. Which would bring about multiple things which could actually help him. His senses were multipled from those of average humaniods. His eyesight, hearing, and sensory skills could be benefical to this cause. So what would he do next.
- Calm himself, Concentrate his breathing. Regulating it so he could concentrate. Staring out into the distance. He would stand still to quiet his movements. Enhancing the chances of him ever hearing a movement within his surroundings. It wouldn't be long for him to close his eyes to further on his focus on the environment before he heard a grunt.
- (Nerian)
- His eyes shot right open as he turned to find a boar barreling straight for him. This was a shock to him as he hadn't expected such a feat from the animal. It had quieted itself to sneak up on him to strike. Such a thing was unexpected of the boar. Yet it had happened.
- Getting the jump on him. Nerian would soon find himself in the air and flipped over on his back in immeanse pain. Screaming out as his first encounter with the creature wouldn't have been a good one.
- Groaning out in pain as he struggled to roll over.
- He dared himself to look up and take a glance on the creature. To which he would see it begin to charge at him once more. Clenching his teeth together. He knew that he needed a way to defeat this beast. Or else he could find himself on the opposite end of its tusk.
- Yikes!
- (Nerian)
- YEEEEEEENNEE
- The boar hollared as it bore its way down towards him. Cursing himself. Nerian would begin to attempt to push himself off the ground to move out of the way. But he couldn't. His body was just in to much pain.
- Ooh man, only if his mother or Hanzo had taught him something. Then maybe this hunt would be so much easier. Maybe Hanzo was on to something. The manipulation of something. But of what. He had poison. What did Nerian have? Meat? A tail and a pair of ears? Clothing? Man he was clueless. Seeing that this option was a no go, his only thought would be nothing but negative.
- To what had seemed to be his death. Nerian had challenged himself not to give up. Even though it seemed impossible to not make it out of this encounter.
- Cursing himself for his recklessness and his stupid determination for getting the boar. Nerian would start to look around for solutions . Which it would only be a matter of time for him to notice that he was holding one. His Black Spear.
- Positioning his spear beneath his body. He planned to raise his Black spear at the last second as he would hold himself on his knees and drive the spear through the boars skull. At first it seemed like a brillant plan. But would it really?
- (Nerian)
- It was only a matter of time for the Boar to be seconds away from Nerian, which gave him a few seconds to push himself up and raise his spear. Aiming it straight for its head.
- Boom!
- A rough thud sound would occur as Nerian would soon become pushed back as the leg part of his pants would begin to burn. He was being pushed back at an incredible speed. As the boar kept on. But what he had also realised. Is that the boar now had a spear launched all the way through its left eye ball. The spear had shown to be halfway lunged inside of its being as the other half was gripped on by a small Nerian.
- With excitement gleaming in his eyes. He couldn't believe that he had done it! He landed a hit on the boar! Or maybe the boar ran into it but still!
- Excitement rolled through his being as the boar would soon come to a halt with a badly bruised and injured Ookami at the front of it.
- Smiling joyiously as he struggled to a stand. He gripped at the spear with both hands to pry it free from the boar's insides. Which caused him to shine with glee! He had done it! Yes! He had to bring it back to show his mom! Finally! He had done what his mother had thought was naught!
- (Nerian)
- Placing his spear back upon its holdings on his back. He reached in his pouch to pull out a lengthy rope. In which he began to tie up the boar with double knots all over before heading off with it in tow as he pulled on the loose end.
- It would take some time but Nerian would finally make it to the cliff side. In which he looked up beyond it. It would defantily be amazing if he could summon some claws to help him out right about now. But no matter how hard he tried to concentrate about it. Nothing had happened.
- So with a heavy sigh. Nerian would begin to head over to the stair case further south of the range and make his way towards home.
- "Stupid Hanzo for not. . . . ugh. . teaching me manipulation of such. . . Aah! Why me!" he complained along his trip back home.
- It surely had been a crazy day for him. But it wasn't like he minded at all. . . did he?
- (Nerian)
