[19:57] While not necessarily a fan of the arts practiced by the Oscuri, she would rather accept that than to remain in the sorry state that she was currently in. She swiftly reached upwards and unbuttoned her shirts, revealing a bare chest completely covered in a mixture of scars, minor burns and small hollowed-out holes, as if something had been stuck there for quite some time and then removed.

Rather than complaining about the cold or the fact that she's more or less flashing the Oscuri, she just stands there. Focused, concentrated eyes nigh glare on the Woman before her, awaiting her to either get this over with or at the very least give her further instructions.

[20:11] The Oscuri crossed their arms as they floated there in front of the Ookami with flaming hair. That was interesting enough, fire hair. Not many fire magi could do that was the cheesemonger a fire magi? Maybe they weren't sure.

Emerald hues scanned across the mass of wounds upon their chest. Well they'd have to prioritize something. Best to focus upon the most glaring issue and that'd be the small hollowed-out holes in their chest. That couldn't be good. No, not in the least.

They'd land softly in the snow, pulling out a basic set of medical supplies from their traveling pack. It was a good thing they traveled prepared! Laying out a handful of medical tonics, bandages, and instruments.

First thing thye pulled out was some salve for the burns. Well they pulled out a bottle of said tonic but they didn't put any on their hands. Instead they'd alight their hands in raw reika burning away any impurities which might be upon their person. They'd shift a bit and do the same to the woman's chest.

Normally an energy magi would have issues keep their energies from simply causing intense harm. Though Ascalon was an experienced manipulator of his reika. Honing it to such a degree that as it coursed across Danu's chest it'd only serve to clean and clean the outer layer of scaring. Removing some of the dead flesh.

Then they'd take a slab of the tonic, rubbing it in their hands. Then they'd begin to smoothly lather the tonic across their burns. Easily administering an even coat! As it got finished they'd simply whip their hands off. Another burst of reika cleaning them off.

Next came the hollowed out holes now this was more tricky. The Oscuri would have to be creative. They'd harness some of their reika. Delivering a handful of quick precise strikes to the areas near the holes. The reika struck key mana-nodes throughout their chest. Shutting down the nodes for a moment. Though once they opened they'd be re-invigorated!

The enhances flow of mana would no doubt lead to faster healing for the wounds. Though beyond that all they could do was wrap the woman in a coating of bandages. Simply moving what clothes they had to out of the way to set up a full coating of bandages.

[20:16] Arlei pouts at Lirien, holding her stomach. Her face displayed a lot of mock pain.

[20:16] Arlei Zanders says, "Ow--oof. . ah. . my bones. . my stomach. . "
[20:16] Lirien Zanders exclaims, "STOP faking!"
[20:17] Freya Kriszta whispers something.
[20:17] Ascalon Zanders says, "I can only heal so many at once! Please Liri don't kill your mother before she can kill me."
[20:18] Arlei falls to the ground slowly, rolling around a little, still clutching her stomach.

"Oo. . owwwww! Lirrryyy, I've not eaten today, oooh. . it hurts so bad. ." she groans, barely suppressing a laugh. She eventually stops moving, lying there on her back.

[20:18] Kah Zam whispers something.
[20:19] Freya Kriszta asks, "You haven't eaten?"
[20:19] Freya Kriszta says, "My store is open."
[20:19] Freya Kriszta whispers something.
[20:19] Arlei Zanders says, "I can't affoooord six hundred for a tea. . "
[20:19] Most of Danu's womanly assets had been burned away from her previous wounds, having been hit head-on with an ancient Illyotian energy cannon that had nearly burnt her whole chest away. While the holes and scarring were mostly remains from her previous injury, the burns weren't; It being a mixture of old and new ones at the same time.

She did not say anything, remaining completely concentrated on not letting the flames of hers go completely out of hand. And so far it had actually been going really well, the flames merely dancing around and not lashing onto anything.

That was up until the reika.

Not only was it naturally hurtful to have her circuits blasted with energy that her body resisted, causing the Ookami to burst out into a plagued groan. And then there was the other part: with her mana circuits completely disabled for but a moment, there was no longer anything to restrain her fiery mane from going completely wild.

And that it did.

Her hair and tail both more than doubled in size, wildly lashing away at the snow and, unless somehow prevented, even Ascalon himself. It kept on raging without Danu being able to do a single thing about it other than remain still, for the hits to at least be a little more predictable.

...

And finally, it died down. While her circuits were not completely restored, the soft-restart seemed to have allowed some of her mana into a lot of the previously burnt circuitry. With that, it would be able to heal itself with time and, with another treatment, chances were that she would be completely restored.

[20:21] She thought their mum was faking, then she started to sink to the ground.. was she actually hurt..? She couldn't be?

"What..? No.. You can't be hurt!"

They say as they drop to their knees by their mum, small hands shake her shoulders.

"STOP faking! Are you okay..? I didn't mean to!"

They began to tear up.

[20:25] As Lirien began to tear up, she dropped the act immediately, wrapping her arms around her young daughter. She pulled her in close, burying her head just beneath her chin as she pitter-pattered kisses like rain onto her head.

"I was just messing around, hun! Please don't cry, I don't like seeing you cry!" she whispered, her tone audibly saddened. Not by the prank, but the fact her daughter had been legitimately worried about her.

She didn't want any of her kids to ever feel sad about anything she'd done, and the fact that the normally-tough Lirien felt that way hurt her a fair amount.

[20:27] Their mother dropped her act immediately grabbing them into an embrace, kisses placed upon their head she apologized and explained herself..

The little Oscuri laughed.. they pulled their head away to show there had been no tears at all! Was it.... an illusion?

"I KNEW YOU WERE FAKING!"

Nonetheless they hug their mother, unsure what the reaction to this would be.

[20:27] The flash of fire weren't exactly something that bothered the Oscuri. Just as the flames erupted they'd smoothly conjure up a barrier or raw-reika about the duo. Notably the barrier was preventing any excess flames from hitting anyone else but the two of them.

Was he burnt by them? Of course he was. Though it didn't stop his focus. He'd fought in wars that shook the continent a bit of out of control fire magic wouldn't do much to distract him now.

Though as it finished he'd goa bout patting the flames off his cloak and hair. Taking a step back they'd give a hum of thought. Finally their gaze settled upon the fire-hair. It was an injury related to mana circuitry. He still felt that it was within his expertise to fully fix.

"If you ever get the desire to get that disabled I could still look into it. Oh, as for your assets? I'd wager if you drunk a healing elixir the magic would restore them. It happened with my right arm when it was all but destroyed."

[20:29] Arlei pouted at first, as Lirien revealed she'd been faking it the whole time! Oh, she wasn't hurt. . she was impressed!

"Illusion magic?! Whoa, good job, Lirry! You had me going! That's impressive!" she chortled, not letting her go! Hugs for ~days~

[20:32] There was only an ever-so-slight pulse to her flames now, dancing along with the rhythm of her heart. After having caught her breath, she questioningly raised a brow at the man before her. "What assets, my ears and tail? I don't know if I want them restored when that would probably leave them coated in a cloud of flame, yeah?"

Completely oblivious to what his words actually meant.

"As for... this." A hand rose, patting right underneath her ablaze ear. "Give it a go if you wish, though... I doubt you will be able to. Illyotian machinery is really not something to joke about, especially with how the others turned out."

The very same machine was able to turn one of the strongest demons on Agartha into a Babline. If he wished to give it a go, so be it. But she wouldn't get her hopes up.

[20:40] She stretches an arm out to the side, making an attempt at flaring her mana. It certainly worked and it was no longer 'blocked' as it had previously been, but the circuits had been completely roasted and had suffered considerable damage that would probably need further mending-

or a whole lot of time to heal on their own.

With that said he'd adjust his glasses once again before opening his journal and taking out a pen, ready to write out anything he could take notes on.
