To rank on Google and to manipulate Facebook in 2020 you need real looking social signals. Simply adding a link somewhere and not generating signals is useless. Static links are now a liability. For example, if you have 10k followers on Twitter and these followers never engage, this counts against you, as they look like ghost followers. The same thing happens with links. If you have 10k links pointing at your sites but people don't engage with these links, then they count against you. But if you generate quality traffic from these links to your site and the links pass on users that browse your pages and engage, the links are counted in your favor.

You need to add the link, then use Chrome or other Google-approved spyware to visit the link and show good behavior on the target site. Extra bonus if you have Analytics on both sites, then Google thinks it's being clever tracking this "user" (your bot), spying on its habits like they do with billions of sites daily, but in reality it's tracking your robot which is teaching Google to rank your site because you have extra juicy super quality engaging links and content.

You can also train their link machine learning using social media. Put the links in place, then do your thing using Facebook, Twitter or Reddit, driving the masses through the link into your site. Links which receive tons of likes and votes on social media receive extra concentrated juice power.

When there is engagement and social signals, Google considers the link legit and "valuable". When a link just sits there not doing anything, it counts against you.

other way to do this would be to create 10 autogenerated websites that look VERY SIMILAR (but without obvious footprints) then feed them with good user experience signals and links.

if google considers at least 3 of them good, the rest will follow as well, because they are similar.

this is probably how sites with fake nulled plugins for wordpress rank, they all look the same, but they still have positive user signals. user signals however is because the ADMIN did put 10 links there that are just supposed to get your click without providing you the file, so before you click 10 links it will be 3min and it will add to site rank.

then it will rank his similar sites that are there also.

i believe there are alrdy people whacking computers with invisible browser instances that searches for a query and feeds negative UX into competitors and positive into his website. then they run seo company, get clients to pay, show effects hurr durd (but not from links but from fake UX) then when client stops paying he stops his bots

Brave new world is closer to present day reality. There's no censorship around us, but excessive info that'll alienate us. When something legit comes out, they push a ton of fake shit around it to flood it in lies. Then nobody can tell what's real and what's not.
