[00:29] The dust had settled and both fighters seemed to have had their fill of violence. Although against BlackJack Eugo was beginning to feel like the Razuka could hold his own and in him he found a perfect sparring partner.

Something the demon valued greatly in them atop of their other accolades. Even though many in the Dreadwoods didn't see BlackJack as equal Eugo's trust in him never waned. SO much so that he wanted him anointed as a warlock...Even if he had to do it by forcible means.

Regardless he looked towards the Razuka as they had finished their spar. "I think you would be able to handle my rune magic perfectly if you trained long enough with it."

The demon began to draw the runes in the air, It would be a familiar symbol Blackjack had seen the demon use in battle many times over. "I have not perfected this style of combat yet, But I call it my 'Demonic Style: Abyssal Curse Enchantments.' Its a style of fighting I incorporate with my magic so its more effective."

A sphere of time magic in his hands he would activate one of the runic circles quickly the orb became immersed in dark magics that made it turn into the shape of a skull. "With this my magic turns into a stronger variation of darkness... Thus giving it added effects just as one would when they are enchanting an item However that enchantment of my dark magic is instead enchanted on my attack magic...Are you following along?" The demon was sure he could understand some of what he was saying since the BlackJack was a runescirbe after all

[00:39] "I think so, is the goal here to cause power runes to entwine with your usual spells, in a condensed form allowing for only your magic to be enchanted with the power runes?...I think I follow."

In truth blackjack had little ability to really understand how to add or dampen to nearby magics, the occult of the demons, his own bio magicks.

He'd try casting a rune, and then shooting a gust of wind through his palm, however it wasn't condensed, and simply caused the area around Blackjack to be windier.

"hmm, my normal runes aren't...working? How do you get the runes, into your spell?"

He'd uncast the rune, the wind slowly became as it always was.

Calm.

He'd look to Eugo's symbols, nothing like what he could find in Osrona.

"Wait, actually, what runes are you using?"

[00:50] It seemed BlackJack was more than interested in Learning, And Eugo would be Interested in teaching. It reminded him of his own attempts at learning. He'd spent time studying under Irkalla for a few years now, And now it was his time to pass on some knowledge of the words they created.

"You won't be able to get there with words like those, They are the words of the Angels...Instead you must use Atreyllian symbols these words breed power of the surrounding essences. These runes are practically commands you give to the Essence in order to guide your magic how you desire." The demon would draw another example a Spell with the power of Time and Darkness in his clawed hand was thrusted towards a nearby tree.

The explosive burst of energy flooded with Darkness...an attack that wasn't mild or humbled at all, Something far different from BlackJack's encounter with the demon when they fought. "Even for me this power is still far too much to control But essentially I can enchant a 'Curse' Onto any of my time spells. And this works vice versa as well." Of course explaining how his own magic works was just a hint.

The combination of Time and Darkness created a new and destructive force. "through my demonic style I've learned how to created a hybrid of magic power for just a split second. If you're able to do something like that with your magics imagine how strong it would become? Venomous lightning...Seems like it would pack a hard punch..."

The demon claimed as he poured more Ideas into the Razuka's head. "of course you'll have to learn how to manipulate essences first...And for that you'll need some knowledge in witch craft...If you're interested.." A smug expression? Was given...although the demon had no face but its body language explained as much.

"I can teach you the words of course if you Accept." A deal with a Devil. The extended claw would reach out towards Blackjack wondering if he'd accept it.

Blackjack would crack his knuckles and look before Eugo...If there was ever a being he trusted, this would be it, next to King Tyranny, of course.


Blackjack would think for a moment, this was a choice that could cost him his life one day, he had to go into this knowing exactly what he wanted and what he was trying to get out of his learning...Eugo had obligations, but if power was the answer to King Tyranny's plan, this would be done.

He'd look Eugo in the face. Unsure of what to say, the being before him was psychological, mind in the form of body...If he was going to put his faith to King Tyranny, he was to put his faith to Eugo as well, they were going to be the saviors of their kin and Blackjack was to right the injustices of the Docro line.

[01:14] "Perfect...I will speak to the Mistress about your training for another day. For now? I will teach you a few words at a time. For now I will teach you the word for 'Bind' and 'Essence' Being able to draw essence around you to power up your spells and Mana absorption is the first step."

The demon would turn to show the word he wrote with his mana into the air. Using his clawed finger tip as the pencil a quickly streak and a few archs and the symbol Stood before the both of them.

"This is a the word for 'Essence' As I said before this word allows you to draw in the essence of your surroundings Even if you can't do so naturally. It will come to you in time as you invoke more and more essence into your spells." The demon would do exactly that and immediately the rune activated after flying a few feat away from Eugo.

It continued to gather small black orbs of Essence as it attracted them like a magnet would to metal. "Now then, You'll start with that rune and then immediately after you want to use the 'Bind' Symbol to restrain all that energy into one place and slowly draw from it when casting your spells. It will increase the power significantly."


"Of course this is just a method I use since I am unable to use witchcraft....Witches are naturally capable of Storing and Drawing upon Essence within their bodies even..." The demon would then divert his attention towards the a floating A few floating spheres near the demon it seemed before they were invisible to the naked eye.

"Of course I don't expect you to do this much. In fact I doubt you could..." The demon trailed off before looking back towards the Spheres.

"Basically I create spheres that constantly absorb Essence allowing me to Pull in Mana for my attacks even faster. And through time magic this process takes seconds,Casting becomes a process that happens immediately." He'd then look down towards BlackJack once more.

"However that's only me drawing on my own affinities...you must learn how to make the spell paths you've chose work in your own favor. Now Practice Drawing Essence to a single spot, and focusing it with a 'Bind' rune."

The demon would then expect BlackJack to draw the same symbol Making sure to correct them whenever they were doing it incorrectly and gave examples when needed. Making sure to show him every brush stroke of the Rune Symbols as needed.

[01:33] At first, Blackjack would try sketching it out in a booklet, trying to get the shape right, before trying to use his orichalcum dagger to scribe the rune. At first, he felt resistance, this was unlike anything he'd done thus far.

"Let's give this a go!"

His dagger was a mithril handle, and orichalcum blade. it was his best tool when creating such, runic symbols. He would seem to copy them relatively well, even though this new language was, quite foreign to him. He would have a cloud of storm and gas in his left hand, and would draw the symbol into the sky before him, as if tearing into reality itself. The symbol itself was as good as it was going to be for their first session, recognizable. Soon the two different magics would slowly combine, this strategy wasn't foreign to him, but for a moment he really felt it Mix... As this new substance was created, he would throw it at a nearby tree, causing the poison to slowly crawl its way around the tree. The spell would slowly fizzle, and the gas would soon see a few sparks, before a small explosion would leave the tree in flame.

"well I don't think that was the intended effect, or, I don't feel like I controlled that, as well as I should have...Eugh, alright."

Blackjack would take a moment to breath as the rune would fade away.

However potent his attacks were going to be with this magic weren't yet up to him.

"Okay, that fizzled out, luckily my gas is usually flammable..."

He'd turn to his mentor.

"How was that?"

[01:41] "Perfect, It seems you're getting the idea, You bind one aspect of your techniques together, This time I want you to visualize in your mind the effects you desire them to have. Which Aspects of your lightning? Wich Aspects of your Poison..."

The demon would continue to chide them on in aims to help them better understand the purpose of runes. "Runes maybe complicated by they are also limitless and based on the creators imagination. Imagine your desired effect. And how it can come about. And you'll be able to create a most deadly magic." The demon had ideas of his own, For ways BlackJack could use his magic however.

He wanted him to figure it out on his own. To use his own imagination and creativity to think of ways to improve upon his visualization of this new hybrid magic attack. "Luckily for you Poison and lightning are both under the very same Mana source. Think they can already co exist together. you just have to bring the link between them out."

[01:44] Blackjack would pat the kid on the shoulder. He looked like a Greycloak, a cloud of smog would cover his face.
"Honorable someone of your stature would go to these depths...

[01:47] The kitsune kid gives a small nod. Although his posture seemed cowardly, he was more afraid of the location rather than the people who inhabited it. It didn't take long after for him to start moving his feet to the entrance.

"Tell Anira that Ragen is looking for her!" He says as he begins shuffling off. He didn't seem to understand that they didn't know who she was.

[01:49] The demons gaze was fixated on the boy as he left making sure he left entirely. His walk back towards the exit he would feel as if eyes were on him the entire time. And when he did look to the edge of the forest he saw the red eyes of many smaller demons waiting and watching.

Ready to pounce upon him had he drawn to close, Their hungry snarls preparing for their next meal. Truly the Dreadwoods wasn't a place for children. Yet this one was brave enough to earn Eugo's mercy.

At least for this time. After all...There's a thin line between bravery and foolishness.

[02:05] A demonic rune was craved into reality This time Eugo did it slowly Not using his time magic to increase the casting speed. Allowing for the essence around him to be shaped to his will. "The First word I use is an aspect of my time Magic. 'Decay' The second is 'Wither' I combine these two together then focus on my next spells."

He moved his right hand also tracing Runes while his left hand handled the other. These runes were Made with occultism...as the Black stains left behind the runes as the essence was drawn in. "The Third word is 'Curse' and the last word is 'Drain' By combining all four of these aspects of my magic together I can create a spell for example..."

The Runes would then gather each taking place in the outer ring of what was forming to be a circle. "The Pentagram is the symbol of Atreyllain runes that allows for the intermixing of magics. Of course any symbol You desire can be used but for me this works well for my imagination."

The sparks of Occult and Time magic quickly began to infuse together slowly and with time they bonded to each other creating the very same Demon Skull as before. "This is a deadly magic that erodes the essence of the timestream within someone's body. You've already experienced some of the effects that comes with my attacks I'm sure."

The skull was made from Green Temporal Magics and enwreathed with a black Flame that made it look like the Reaper themselves Clearly anyone exposed to this magic would feel immense pain. "Of course I've never used this on a person thus far, Its only been a theory I've been testing here and there. I've only recently been able to shape it to this extent."

He was after all still studying runes as well."Now show me how creative you can be." The demon spoke towards the Razuka.

[02:18] Blackjack would do his best to keep up with the binding rituals, he would at one point incorporate his water magics into the runes as well...

Blackjack would strike the air infront of him with his dagger, drawing a pentagram as Eugo did, best to learn from him and slowly divulge into a newer style himself, at least for the basics.

He'd think for a moment, a puff of smog would come out infront of him, it seemed normal enough, before a shock of thunder would shoot down from it, then it would slowly begin to shift its shape into a translucent snakelike creature, flowing like water in the sky.

It would ram into another tree, before shocking itself and exploding yet another tree.

Blackjack would try yet another, before slowly rolling a ball of water within his hand, tossing it at a tree as it blew up into arcs of lightning.

He'd laugh at the explosions.

"Man this is fun!"

[02:21] It seemed he was getting the hang of it, Although he required more work to refine it which Eugo was sure he'd keep up with his studies. "Good work, It seems you're a faster learner than I expected you to be. You'll be able to do much with stronger spells like these. And this is only the surface."

Eugo would claim as he'd revoke his own magic power and remain idle for a while. Instead choosing to passively watch as Blackjack toyed around with his spells.

"For now I suggest practicing and in time I will teach you more words and as I learn more as well. I will teach you what I've discovered...And feel free to do the same. Runes are a collaborative magic after all."
