  1.
  2. [21:01] Sugarboy exclaims, "Bruh, I already had a hard enough time finding a water teacher, where the hell am I gonna find a light
  3. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. [21:01] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "I can help with Light magic, if wanted. I can also manipulate water as well."
  6. [21:01] Sugarboy says, "Not to mention I still need to learn the basic of first aid.."
  7. [21:01] Haeresis says, "Maybe we could ask some random person to teach us"
  8. [21:01] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "I am also a medic."
  9. [21:02] Haeresis says, "I want to learn some magical magic, but i'm not sure which one so....."
  10. [21:02] Cirilla instantly perked up. "I would very much like to learn healing magic!"
  11. (Cirilla)
  12. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13.
  14. [21:03] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "Well, the best healing is done through medical knowledge and the use of Holy imbued water magic."
  15. [21:04] Sugarboy jumps from his seat and drops to his knees before the lady he never even got the name of. "Please! Would you be willing to teach me? I'm not the sharpest hook in the tackle box, but I'm passionate, I want to help people, and not be.. useless.." he'll cast a sorry glance at Haeresis, wishing he could've done more, had he known medicine, he wouldn't have had to carry her across the continent in agony.
  16. (Sugarboy)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18. [21:08] She raises a brow at the boy that just threw himself down before her, looking about, before motioning for him to stand up. "There's no need for any of that, young one. I can help you towards the path of healing. I've been doing medical procedures on Huangzhou's soldiers for years, and I don't mind lending my knowledge to others hoping to do the same.", she said, sighing. "Perhaps I should announce a class on healing one of these days...", she muttered to herself, before shaking her head.
  19.
  20. "Would you like to start with Light Magic, or with basic medical procedures? Light magic isn't necessary for healing others, though it does aid the process significantly, and can make an otherwise hopeless situation, possible.", she said, wondering which he'd prefer.
  21. (Tiarn Dhiaga)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23.
  24. [21:11] The tan boy scratches his chin in thought, "I think I could pick up medicine quicker.. I was watching Eagleheart when he was working on Haeresis's leg.. He was draining fluid from her leg, and I don't know.. it seemed to make sense to me.."
  25. (Sugarboy)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [21:17] She gives the boy a small nod, "Alright, we'll start with basic medical procedures then.", she said, looking around. They were already in a classroom, so what better place to start. "If you don't mind starting now, I suppose we're in a place of learning already. Let's just...", she walked over to the writing board and began to start anew, writing out processes of how to treat basic injuries, like a broken arm, or scrapes and bruises, with simple illustrations to match.
  29.
  30. "Well, to start off, you'll need to know how to wrap a bandage around an afflicted area, and know when that's necessary... Of course, you don't want to wrap a bandage around a broken arm, while it's still broken, you'll first want to set the bone back into place. A process that can be quite painful for the person, but is necessary for it to heal properly with time. This is why I suggest Light magic to aid you in healing, as it can numba person to pain...", she explained, writing this all down on the board.
  31. (Tiarn Dhiaga)
  32. [21:21] Sugarboy nods excitedly, eager to learn. He grabs one of the pillow/seats and drags right up to the teacher's desk. He wanted the best seat in the house to learn what he's been searching for for weeks. He nods, he reaches for a piece of paper and a pen, taking notes faster than he's ever before. His head bounces with every fact he hears, soaking it up quickly.
  33. (Sugarboy)
  34. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  35.
  36. [21:31] Continuing, Tiarn looked back over her shoulder to notice Sugar Boy was taking notes quite enthusiastically. With a short pause, she went back to her explanation. "Alright then, after setting a bone back in place, you'll want to wrap it, and if possible, put a splint over it. A splint is a medical term for a wrapping that prevents the afflicted area from moving. It typically takes some time to make, unless specific magic is used instead. Something like Earth magic, for example, can create a splint using rocks shaped like a cast around a person's leg.", she noted, having known a few magi who had done so in the past.
  37.
  38. "You'll also want to prevent any bleeding first and foremost. Blood loss can cause a person to go into shock if not treated properly, and that just causes a whole slew of messes. Blood Magic, Water Magic, Holy magic... All of these would be a good magic type to pick up for a medic, though, of course, none are truly necessary. A medic show always have some bandages and herbs on them that can help stop bleeding. If not, you can always take any scrap of cloth, and sanitize it for the same, if roughly worse, effect.", she jotted down the information on the board quickly, stopping once again to check Sugar boy's progress.
  39. (Tiarn Dhiaga)
  40. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  41. [21:35] Wei Djao says, "Hey love."
  42. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  43.
  44. [21:35] Wei Djao asks, "Going to go for a walk, mind if I leave Kibo here with you?"
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [21:36] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "Ah, sure dear... I'll watch him."
  48. [21:36] Sugarboy continues diligently taking notes, sketching a quick diagram of a broen leg and a splint. He especially takes note when Tiarn mentions the other magic that would greatly help in the practice, putting a big circle around blood magic, and another one around light. "So blood magic isn't frowned upon or anything?" he asks, looking up from his notes.
  49. (Sugarboy)
  50. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  51.
  52. [21:43] She shakes her head at his question, "No, blood magic is simply an advanced form of Water magic. There is no inherit corruption about it, there is nothing that makes it evil, per se... Not like Dark magic. Blood magic itself is rather useful.", she noted, going back to her notes on the board.
  53.
  54. "There's also the need to take care of internal bleeding as well. Without magic, this can be rather tricky, as there's nothing to really indicate internal bleeding, unless it become severe. This can be more noticeable in cases, where someone might, for instance, be bleeding from some extremity. It is a very serious problem, and should be treated immediately. Situations like stabbings might carry a much higher risk for internal bleeding, for example. In these cases, you will want to bandage them, or if that's unnecessary, skip straight to giving them herbs and medicine that can coagulate blood faster.", she nodded idly as she wrote.
  55.
  56. "In moresevere cases, one may have to perform surgery to prevent the patient from choking on their own blood, or the blood from clogging their body in some way. But, that's for a more advanced course.", she said, looking over at him, "Any other questions? Any situations in particular you want to know about?"
  57. (Tiarn Dhiaga)
  58. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  59.
  60. [21:44] Yani asks, "Hello Hello, do you have time to enchant my weapon yet...?"
  61. [21:44] Tiarn Dhiaga asks, "Ah?... I suppose I could, sure... What kind of enchantment would you like?"
  62. [21:45] Yani says, "A sound enchantment, i want it to go boom when i pull the trigger."
  63. [21:45] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "I see... Alright then."
  64. [21:45] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "Bring it over and I'll take a look see."
  65. [21:45] Yani says, "How long does it take to try and get this in pristine condition? It's a bit old and i'd ask for that if you had the energy."
  66. [21:47] Yani asks, "What kind of food can i getcha in return for this?"
  67. [21:47] The boy finishes up his notes. and looks up with a big smile, "I mean, not that I can think of. I've ran into a broken bone, luckily I haven't had anyone bleed real bad on me, but now I know what to do if they are!" he says happily, "Those are the most common injuries you run into, right?"
  68. (Sugarboy)
  69. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  70.
  71. [21:49] Noticing his teacher is busy, Sugarboy turns to the baby, once he gets it's attention, he starts making funny faces, trying to make the baby laugh.
  72. (Sugarboy)
  73.
  74. [21:54] Leaning over, she begins writing runes over the weapon fairly quickly, though, it was still rather slow, given the power of the runes. Each one glowed brightly as she inscribed it over the weapon, lending it to start growing leylines, in a sense, that rooted themselves to other runes on the rifle. At the end, she wrote a runic circle on the stock that would trigger whenever the trigger was pulled, releasing a sonic boom level sound once the mana shot passed through the exit of the barrel.
  75.
  76. With a deep breath she nodded to them. "There you are. It should be fixed up pretty easily too.", she said, giving it a few small tweaks here and there, making sure it was sound. "Any food will do, if that's how you wish to pay me. I typically prefer Pies, seeing as how Azira makes so many, but, fish or tea works just as well. No burden on you though.", she nodded, before turning back to Sugarboy.
  77.
  78. "Ah, yes, cuts and broken bones are typically the most common minor injuries. Being a medic for the army, I usually run across much more severe cases, however. Situations that usually require a trauma kit, and more than just a few bandages.", she smirked, nodding.
  79. (Tiarn Dhiaga)
  80. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  81.
  82. [21:56] Yani says, "Thank you, i'll be right back with what i can find."
  83. [21:57] Sugarboy asks, "is a trauma kit necessary if you have all of the magics you mentioned before?"
  84. [21:57] Yani says, "Here you go ma'am. Thank you for the service."
  85. [21:57] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "Yes. In severe casts when an injury will permanently remain on a body, regardless of your healing capabilities, a trauma kit is necessary to stablize a person."
  86. [21:59] Sugarboy nods, adding the fact to his notes. "So what specifically is a trauma kit, and how should I got about getting one? And would you use it on something like a lost arm or leg?"
  87. (Sugarboy)
  88.
  89. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  90.
  91. [22:04] "right!" he writes word-from word what Tiarn says into his notes, "So uh- if I encounter people who are hurt, is it alright to help 'em with this new knowledge I got? or should I attend a few more classes?" he inquires, eager to apply what he's learned, but understanding that he can't take to everything as easily as he did water magic.
  92. (Sugarboy)
  93. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  94.
  95. [22:06] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "For minor injuries? You can likely treat those without much issue. But, for more advanced cases that would require a kit, I would suggest taking a few more classes for such, before attempting them. After all, you are putting a person's life in your hands, and you should be more than prepared for what's to come in such cases."
  96. [22:07] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "No one will mind if you help bandage a wound here or there, but setting a bone requires practice, or else you can cause a fragment to get stuck in them, and cause more harm than good, as well."
  97. [22:09] Sugarboy drops back down, taking more notes, underlining the results if he fucks up. He takes it to heart, only fueling his desire to become a great medic. he'll look back up at the mother, "Thank you so much for taking the time out of your already busy schedule to teach me, I really really appreciate it." He says with a big, genuine smile, "So uh, what do ya wanna do about future lessons?"
  98. (Sugarboy)
  99. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  100.
  101. [22:11] Tiarn takes a moment to think about it, before shrugging. "I'm not all that sure, really. Come see me another time, perhaps tomorrow, and I'll see about teaching you again. Perhaps I'll take some time to prepare better, rather than doing something like this in such an inpromptu fashion..."
  102. (Tiarn Dhiaga)
  103. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  104.
  105. [22:13] Sugarboy asks, "Sounds good! I take it I can find you here in huang?"
  106. [22:13] Sugarboy says, "**around Huang "
  107. [22:14] Forlog Asmund whispers something.
  108. [22:14] Forlog Asmund whispers something.
  109. [22:14] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "I am almost always in Huangzhou, yes."
  110. [22:18] "Dope!" He picks up all of his notes, folding them and putting them in the pocket on his shirt, patting it safely over his heart. "Again, I can't thank you enough for taking me under your wing, I promise I'm gonna make you so proud of me! kissin all the booboo's and settin all the legs!" he says with a playful smirk, "Anyway, I'd hate to keep ya anymore than I have. Take is easy Misses Tiarn!" he says with a wave as he saunters to the door
  111. (Sugarboy)
  112. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  113.
  114. [22:19] Tiarn Dhiaga says, "Indeed, have a good one, and read over your notes often. Next time, we'll try to put it into practice a bit better."
