How To Secure an Instagram Account by @impairing

When logging into instagram -

1.) enter the username AND type out the password don’t copy and paste it

2.) Log in once, it will prompt you with a security page of some sort

3.) The current owner then accept your login, stay on the security page and don’t touch anything until they say it’s confirmed.

4.) Once given the green light, close the instagram app and re login. it shouldn’t give you any security pages

5.) follow the steps below to continue properly securing your Instagram Account


Steps 1-9 on How to properly secure any Instagram Account:

Step 1: Secure the email provided with it (ideally the OGE).

Step 2: Upon logging in, validate info about previous/current email(s) & phone number(s) under your activity » download your information or activity » account history.

Step 3: If the account comes with no OGE, link & confirm own email and/or phone number.

Step 4: Go to settings » security » login activity, and log out all other devices.

Step 5: Change the password using account settings. Go to settings » security » password, and change your password.

Step 6: Change the password using ticket system. Go to add new account » log in to existing account » forgot password? » enter your username or email » next.

Step 7: Disconnect any facebook account if any under "Meta Accounts Center".

Step 8: Disconnect all websites under settings » apps & websites.

Step 9: Enable 2FA under settings » security » two-factor authentication. Make sure you save the backup codes.


Notes:

— Go to settings » help » support requests » violations, and review the violations (if any).

— If the account you are buying is an OG username, use a reliable swap service.

— wait 3-4 days before starting to Change info upon login may not be available due to recent instagram security measures, this restriction lifts after 3-4 days.

— Take your time when securing the account; if you rush the process, instagram might flag it as suspicious activity and ban the account.
