Narrator: Previously, on SONIC BABIES, Shadow started having accidents in his sleep. Now he's suffering from great conflict due to the problem...

(Nursery)

(Shadow wakes up; he yawns and stretches getting out of bed looking happy)

Vanilla: Good morning, Shadow.
Shadow: Morning Vanilla.
Vanilla: Let's get you to the bathroom and get you out of that wet Pull-On.

(She carries him to the bathroom)

(Bathroom)

(Vanilla looks in the cabinet for another Pull-On)

Vanilla: Oh no, we ran out!
Shadow: Uh Oh, no more?
Vanilla: *Sigh* I thought Kevin restocked!
Shadow: Must have forgotten.
Vanilla: Well, I guess there's plan B.
Shadow: What plan B?

(Later, in the Living Room)

(Shadow is wearing a boy's diaper)

(Walks into the living room smiling out the side of his mouth)

Tails: Shadow?
Shadow: Yes, Tails?
Tails: Are you wearing a diaper?
Kevin: Just until we get some more Pull-Ons.
Shadow: Yeah, but I am in a diaper though.
Kevin: But try not to wet it.
Shadow: I'll try.

(Kevin leaves)

Shadow: (turns back to Tails) So, what you been doing?
Tails: Oh, nothing much.
Shadow: You’re not down in your workshop today?
Tails: I might go do some lab work tonight.
Shadow: You’re in there a lot.
Tails: What are you getting at?
Shadow: Nothing. *Smiles innocently*
Tails: What's going on?
Shadow: Does something always have to be going on?
(Amy, Rouge, and Cream come into the living room and see Shadow diapered)

Shadow: *turns and sees him* Hi girls.
Amy: Did they…?
Shadow: No, not yet, they were out of the other stuff so they put me in one.
Rouge: Did they what?
Shadow: Put me back in diapers like the rest of you.
Tails: Why?
Shadow: Because I've been wetting a lot lately.
Cream: We noticed.
Shadow: Yeah, I know. Kind of what I wanted was for people to notice.
Rouge: But why?
Tails: Yeah, when I wet my diapers I don’t make a big deal out of it.
Shadow: That's because you’re actually in a diaper. I'm not though anymore. You all are still in diapers. I'm the only one that is like this.
Amy: Wow…
Shadow: You see... You all still wear diapers, and just because I'm one of the older ones, I have to be different than you all...
Tails: But the grown-ups do it.
Shadow: Yes, but you all are my friends; I want to be like you.

(In the kitchen, we see that Kyle has been listening in on Shadow’s discussion; He obviously feels for him)

(Shadow sighs and sits on the floor)

Cream: I’m sorry you feel this way.
Shadow: Thanks, but I'm guessing I'm going to have to get over this at some point, but just I don’t like being different.
Kyle: Do you want me to talk to Kevin and Vanilla tonight?

(Kids turn and see Kyle in the doorway)

Shadow: You… You heard all that?
Kyle: I was in the kitchen. I feel your pain.
Shadow: Wha? You do?
Rouge: Yeah, what gives?
Shadow: That's what I'm wondering here.
Kyle: You want to be switched back to diapers.
Shadow: Well, kinda.
Kyle: Kinda?

(Shadow starts to break down)

Shadow: Yes! Yes I do, I want to be put back in them. I want to be like my friends and wear and go in my diapers again. I'm different the way I am and don’t do things like they all do.
Kyle: It’ll be okay…
Shadow: It will? *he looks up at him*
Kyle: I’ll talk with them tonight about this.
Shadow: Thanks Kyle. *he smiles*

(Kevin and Vanilla return)

Kevin: You stayed dry! Great!
Shadow: Yeah, guess I did *Laughs a little*
Kevin: Well, let’s put you in your Pull-Ons.
Shadow: *sighs some but nods* Ok Kevin.

(Later that night...)

(Vanilla tucks the kids in bed)

Vanilla: Night-night kids.
Kids: Night-night.
Kyle: Vanilla, can I speak with you?

(Kitchen)

Kevin: Okay, what did you need to talk to us about?
Kyle: It’s the situation with Shadow. He’s kind of sad about something.
Kevin: Go on…
Kyle: It seems that when he started having those accidents, he wanted to be switched back to diapers.
Kevin: What? Why does he want to do that?
Kyle: Isn’t it obvious? None of his friends are potty trained, and he’s with them every day.
Vanilla: But, I don’t get it. He seemed so proud of using the bathroom.
Kyle: I’m no psychology expert, but I think he wants to be put back because he misses them and wants to be like the rest of the kids. He was on a breakdown.
Kevin: He’s too old.
Kyle: …So was I, if you remember.
Kevin: Shadow is just too old to wear them.
Kyle: Not everyone learns when they're two or three.
Kevin: But not everyone stays diapered when they're that older.
Vanilla: But why? He was so happy he did it.
Kevin: He's just acting up and it should stop and he must hush and accept that he is in potty training until he passes.
Kyle: Don't sound so conceited! He can't just be pitching a fit!
Vanilla: I’m afraid it's useless to argue, Kyle.
Kyle: Why do you think he should be taken off diapers permanently?
Kevin: Because wearing them when you’re older isn’t—
Kyle: *Interrupts* Isn’t what? Normal?
Kevin: It's not mature. Children are suppose to grow up, stop wearing diapers, and never use them anymore.
Kyle: Kev…
Kevin: End of discussion.

(Kyle heads out the kitchen; He stops)

Kyle: Sometimes "normal" isn't all it's hyped up to be. (He heads out)
Vanilla: At some point, I think I will have to go with Kyle.
Kevin: Huh?
Vanilla: I understand where you're coming from, Kyle.
Kevin: I don't think you do. I got through it, you got through, it Kyle got through, it and Shadow must take our example and do the same too.
Vanilla: But, I just feel maybe we should let him decide for himself.
Kevin: But...
Vanilla: You said it yourself, he's getting older.
Kevin: Well...

(Dissolve)

(Nursery—Morning)

(The kids wake up)

(Shadow lifts the covers, noticing that he wet himself again)

Knuckles: You’re wet again, aren't you?
Shadow: Yeah…
Kyle: Hey, buddy!
Shadow: Hi, Kyle.
Kyle: Let’s get you changed.

(Kyle changes Shadow into a diaper)

Shadow: What’s going on?
Kyle: I talked to Kevin and Vanilla last night.
Shadow: And they said it was OK?
Kyle: It was a little hard winning Kevin over; you know how stubborn he is.
Shadow: I know.
Kyle: He just wanted to do some good. He wasn't trying to be mean.
Shadow: I know.
Kyle: I'm happy for you.

(They hug)

Shadow: Thanks Kyle, I wont forget this, and don't worry, this isn't forever, I'll want back out someday, I'm just not ready to give them up totally just yet.

(Vanilla is watching from the doorway, she smiles)

(Kitchen)

(Kevin is grading papers; Vanilla comes in)

Vanilla: Shadow seems happy now that he’s been put back in diapers.
Kevin: Yeah. I guess it is progress in some ways.

(Fade to black)

Kevin: (Voice only) If episode 15 didn’t ruin the show’s reputation, this two-parter should.
