The bust depicts a woman of hardy peasant stock, carved from the beautiful, light and silky wood of
the juniper. The figure's shape cuts off at a V-shape just above the breasts, the bottom tapering
into a flat base like a chess piece. Her build is soft, the features gentle, with rounded cheeks and
what most refer to as a 'button nose.' Her eyes, narrow and intelligent, could be mistaken for
Tsol'aa, and here the artist decided to use amber gems to lend them life and color. Her hair is
simple but frozen in startling detail, with long, subtle rents in the wood for texture. It
terminates into a ponytail that hangs a short distance over the rear of the statuette. Her chin
lifted high, the woman gazes into the heavens, speculating at sights unseen with the eyes of an
inventor, a scholar, or a painter.
