Sinnoh Episode 4

It was only about a hour of running(During which both Joudai and Yang went back to get their mons) that we find the two of them sitting back at a cafe with Joudai sipping on a cup of juice while Yang scours through Sinnoh Weekly, a magazine that send out each issue every..well, weekly. Going by her rather serious expression, Joudai assumes that she's an advent reader of the series.

"So Jojo.." Hearing her voice brought him out of his thoughts as he look over to her as she is still reading the magazine, on the "Contest and Poffins" section."(She's never gonna stop calling me Jojo....)" "What made you decided to become a trainer?" _"(A typical ice-breaker, I suppose.)" He adjust himself in the chair as he place his cup down so he's facing her. "Well, like most other teens like us, I wanted to travel and defeat strong trainers to prove myself, I suppose..."

She nods as she skim through the pages, approving of his answer. "Anyone in particular you wanna take down?"

Joudai shakes his head. "No one comes to mind, I just take down anyone who stands before me." Yang glances up from her magazine with a raised eyebrow. "Really? No rival to motivate yourself to get stronger?" She looks away and mutters with a confused look. "How weird..." Hearing this, Joudai frowns a bit, not feeling insulted, but curious himself now. "I imagine you have a rival of yourself to compete with?" Yang chuckles as she flip a page again. "Not so much as a rival considering that there's a huge gap of skill between us for now...but..." She gets to the page she wanted to get to and flip the magazine around to show Joudai a full body pic of the Sinnoh Champion, Raven Branwen "I do have an endgoal in mind...that being my mom."

"Uh-huh..." The info of Raven being her mother didn't process his mind until about 3 seconds where he shakes his head. "Wait, what?!?"

"Yeah." She shrugs her shoulders with a small laugh as she takes the magazine away from him. "My mom is the champ here, who would had thought?" Joudai blinks as he sip his cup some more, digesting this. "So I take it you're here to..." "Beat her to a pulp? Hell yeah bro!" She raise a fist up in the sky as she place one foot on the table. "And I shall amass the perfect team to counters hers!!"

"Oh?" Joudai crosses his arms and look up at her with an amused look. "And how will that go?" "Why I'm glad you asked, my boyfriend~" Hearing that brings a blushing scowl to his face
"I'm not your boyfrie-" "You see, Jojo..." Ignoring him as she sit back down with a confident smirk. "Mom here is a Dark type specialist, right?" He nods, allowing her to continue. "So what's a better way to dismantle her than...an all fighting type team lead by my Combusken? Joined by the likes of Makuhita and Shroomish...we're gonna be unstoppable!"

"Huh...Well, I hope you know your mom may have some coverage moves to stop you.." Joudai bring her down to reality as she frowns at him "Well, they won't stop us! Anyway..." She leans over the table and smile at him. "What about you? What's your team looking like?"

Joudai sips his cup, finishing the remaining juice inside. "Monferno, Staravia, Pikachu, and just recently, Carvanha." Hearing the first mon made Yang beam him an excited smile. "Oh cool, a Monferno!" Joudai couldn't help but smile back, if only much smaller than hers "Yeah, The Chimchar line is my favorite pokemon species so....why not?"

"Good taste, but they aren't as cool as my Torchic line..." Suddenly she widens her eyes and soon give him an evil smirk which unnerves Joudai. "(It's like seeing a smiling Gyarados...)"  "Jojo...we're both trainers, right?~" "Yes..." He raise an eyebrow before she suddenly get up and grab him by his arm and hoist him on her shoulder as she walk out of the cafe. "Wh-what the hell, Yang?!?" "We're trainers so we gonna do what trainers do best...battle!"
"Ok, but why you gotta carry me?!?" It was an odd sight seeing a blonde girl carrying a black male in public, but most people opted not to say anything or do anything about it lest they upset the amazon before them as she look around for the exit. "Cause you're my boyfriend, duh!" "We're not dating!!"

"Oh, you love to play hard to get huh?" She smiles as she walk towards the western exit of the city and head back to the bridge. Before long, she place him down on his feet and smile at him.

"Now...let's put a friendly wager on this one...If you win, I'll stop calling you my boyfriend and even give you some money as payment for pushing you into that bush over there." As she point to said bush, Joudai instantly gets interested in this battle now. "But when I win..." She leans towards him with a shifty look into her eyes and a small smirk. "We're dating..until I said otherwise...got it?" Even with her voice being a bit scarier now, Joudai doesn't flinch and walk back to get some space before turning back to her with one Pokeball out. "3v3 single match?"

"Oh yeah, Jojo...you know how I like to brawl..."Yang smirks and get her pokeball ready. "(Perfect...once I beat her, she will leave me alone and I can continue this journey of mines...)"
Joudai send out his first Pokemon "(I won't lose...)"


20 mins later.
"........" A very angry Joudai is carried on a brightly smiling Yang's shoulder as she walk back to the Pkmn Center with him as her prize. "...How the fuck did you get your hands on a Makuhita with Rock Slide?" "Same reason how you got your hands on a Monferno with Close Combat?" He couldn't see it due to him hanging over her shoulder with his face behind her, but he can hear the smug smirk on her face. ".....Fucking hate it here..."

"I love you too, Jojo~..Now let's go heal our mons and take on the gym leader!!" Joudai sighs and decided to be her boyfriend for the time being... "(Well, it's not like things can't get even crazier...right?)"
