- Osiris' head cants to the side ever so slightly.
- "You seem to think that I interact with Osrona outside of my husband, that's not quite true. This was a journey for myself, after all. You trust me do you not?" He questions whilst intending to take up what the Felinae entity had left behind.
- "Then trust I can handle myself to keep these safe and put them to good use. I've spent too long trying to find this place to simply relinquish it elsewhere- you know that."
- "It's not as though anyone would know we've been here anyhow."
- Unless physically stopped, Osiris would proceed to take up those celestial artifacts.
- "You have your plans, as do I. Which is why I will be taking these, after all, it was with some of your own advice that I'd decided to do all of this - which you said you'd support."
- There shouldn't really be any reason for Basil to be against Osiris furthering himself.
- (Osiris Queen)
- There's little that Osiris could understand.
- But considering the political climate of Esshar.. there's little that he could entrust the Felinae with this.
- "It's not about trusting you."
- "It's about trusting the rest of the world not to take it from you." While the Felinae might not foresee this, the Rhoynish, in fact, does get in the way.
- If only to speak out.
- "I do not trust the rest of Osrona, or even your husband, for he was the Knight of the First Light."
- "The Wonders that are to be constructed could benefit far more people - including you and your husband." A pause, to which he adds.
- "You will have full access to Grimoire - but I insist that it will be secured within the vaults of Alabastre. Afraid I cannot let you carry it around in such manner."
- "The enchanted cloth, however, you can have."
- (Basil)
- "First of all, Sparrow was never a Knight. He was the High Keeper of the Church, as Del was the Archpriest. But he did not agree with Alexander and left that Church until Osrona was taken over by those victors of war."
- "You may not know Sparrow like I do, clearly, but I know without a shred of doubt in my person that he would never do something as much as to even alert others of its presence." He sought to step past Basil.
- "I have an entirely secured and guarded home-- I have no plans to walk around with either. Neither do I even plan to flaunt it around in public at all. That'd be foolish, the Felinae were charged with guarding the grimoire- why would I hold it where it can be stolen?"
- An index motions for the Chiron, "I've seen you utilise whatever Starstones you've collect for healing elixirs and whatnot." If that was even the correct name of such.
- "I have my own plans, plans which are the reason I've come here- the reason I found this place. Why would you try to place conditions on what it is that I can and cannot do in regards to the heritage of my own people?"
- As he moved past, he'd once more aim to collect those fallen relics.
- "I would never attempt such for your endeavors with the Rhoynish and such, so, please don't try to prevent the progress I'm seeking to make for myself."
- "I know how to keep my things safe." Has Osiris ever been stolen from? Not quite, he's far from the public eye, intentionally so.
- "I know you don't trust Osrona, despite all of the King's supporters having left or gone into hiding, and I'm not involved with any of them regardless."
- (Osiris Queen)
- "High Keeper or Knight.. same thing."
- Truthfully, he never saw any difference, except the fact that some of them may be focused on entirely different thing, but.. when Osiris remarks of that?
- "The answer on the grimoire is a solid no, Osiris."
- "If you do not wish to settle for having access within Alabastre, then I'm afraid we're at an impasse."
- A pause, to which he adds.
- "What is it that you plan to do with Chiron?"
- "Because the answer to that may be in the previous tome we've found."
- (Basil)
- "No, it is far from the same thing. Sparrow disliked the Order, he'd even convinced members to leave the Order. He's wholly against the occult and has never done anything like you're painting him to have done with that brush."
- He paused.
- "I spoke to you about this, did you not listen to me when I said to avoid painting everyone with the same brush due to being from the same city?"
- "You're not going to tell me 'no' right now, Basil. I'm sure you wouldn't let someone take those armbands of yours, as I don't plan to see this grimoire solely kept with Alabastre."
- "It'll certainly be more than the healing elixirs yourself and Del have gotten made. To help myself, as you've use it to help yourself. There shouldn't be an issue with that."
- He took a deep breath, "Basil, just leave it be, there is absolutely no chance of me losing these, or handing them away. Why encourage my goals in the past if you're just going to swoop in and try to undo my years of searching? As my friend, you'd be fine- happy, for me to have finally found these."
- He quite literally dispersed his physical form into a flash of light to transport himself upon the relics and calmly collects them.
- "Alabastre can still have access to the grimoire in my possession, obviously, so what's the problem with that?"
- "If anything, it's better that they aren't all kept in the same place."
- That's why the grimoire was scattered in the first place.
- (Osiris Queen)
- "..I hoped it would not come to this."
- While Osiris makes his way over to the artifacts, already the stardust is sent their way to push them out of the grasp of Felinae; the distrust that he held for those that roam about with Osrona was just too great.
- "The home you claim that is secured?"
- "It is located in one of the cities. Theria, Myllenoris, the broken town of Osronans or Osrona itself."
- "And I trust none of them, nor I can keep visiting them - the same cannot be said about you and Alabastre."
- For while Osiris insists that he would be doing 'something' with Chiron.. it doesn't seem to impress the High Lord of the Rhoynur either.
- "The healing elixir was the lost Chiron, not obtained in anything of importance, with its strength fading. It might as well been used for that, because it would not power anything else."
- "But.. since we don't agree?"
- The flames gather- yet, as much as they're gathered.. they do not scorch. They do not burn as intense, the heat intended to push one away.
- "By the end of this, you'll still be welcome to make use of Wonders and Grimoire alike. For Chiron? Perhaps, if I knew more of what you plan.."
- "But I'm afraid I cannot let you take them away while leaving me in the dark."
- (Basil)
- Osiris didn't want it to come to this either, but...
- It seems as though Basil had lost his trust in Osiris' word now too.
- With that cascading wave of stardust headed his way, his lips pursed - evidently he'd rather not be in this sort of predicament, but... Basil insisted on fighting and so that's what would happen it seems.
- "If you want to know what I want to do with the Chiron, I'll tell you right now." He paused, aiming to evade that attack Basil cast upon him.
- "I never thought that you would attack me, Basil. That's... quite hurtful actually."
- His lips pursed a little.
- "I plan to craft the greatest weapon of starlight to wield in assistance of myself becoming that beacon of light that I'm aspiring towards."
- Far greater than a healing elixir.
- "You're no longer in the dark for that, but I guess you disagree with me on the grimoire..." He pursed his lips.
- He felt this was going to go south for himself, perhaps he knew Basil was stronger.
- "Whatever the result, I trust you won't try to take the Chiron and that cloth at the least." His eyes narrowed somewhat.
- (Osiris Queen)
- The loss of trust is something that could hurt the relationship a lot.
- And while he fought Osiris.. truthfully, there weren't really any hateful feelings involved- each push of starlight, every flame that is sent his way, it is intended to weaken the Felinae - but never harm him for good. For while the Rhoynish can be often fierce, frenzied even..
- There's no such anger in this.
- "A weapon?"
- "A weapon is all that you wanted? Then you should've said so from the very beginning." A clash of weapons. Here, Osiris can see how far Basil has come..
- For even with the injury upon him, despite the presence of lax essence, he's all too difficult to push against.
- "The Grimoire we obtained has long unveiled such. You could've simply asked for cooperation from the very start - the Wonders I aim to create are far beyond this."
- "And you could've had access to it all."
- There's disappointment in the fact that Osiris could distrust Basil this much.. as if Osiris isn't allowed within Alabastre. But why would he think so? Why would he think that it's no longer secured?
- When it has perhaps strongest king and queen as guardians?
- "I'm disappointed that you distrust me..."
- "But I'm sure you are disappointed no less."
- Yet, here Osiris finds himself caught up in the fiery wave- one that is intended to knock him away and weaken him enough to no longer be able to grasp artifacts.
- And Basil collects Chiron and Grimoire alike.
- "Osiris."
- "In the name of our friendship and what we shared, I leave the cloth to you. I wish you to come to Alabastre when you're ready, and reconcile."
- "You can have your weapon yet - but it will not come out of this Chiron. You can have access to Grimoire yet, so long as you accept the idea they will be secured within the vaults."
- "I hope you will not find yourself succumbing to anger or frustration."
- But.. with that said? He intends to leave.. before the Felinae could potentially recover and fight him again.
- "Goodbye.." But.. his lips idly curl. He knew that some of his decisions would always be frowned upon by others, by those whom he knew- or used to know, with how they changed..
- There's but a mutter, quiet, sorrowful. Almost unadible.. because he feels as if Osiris would take offense.
- ".. friend.."
- On that note.. the Rhoynish disappears.
- (Basil)
