I don't really care for fursona play because it is too close to the actual person's personality or living out some sort of fantasy for the irl person behind the keyboard. When I do my characters I completely separate myself. It was a interesting trial but I can't keep up with it and I think you will be able to find a better match using the resources I've posted. Sorry it didn't work out. But our styles are very different. I hope the resources will help you out though. You are an awesome person but it just won't fit for the group in the long term.

You also refer to your character alot though as I and me when ooc. I hadn't made the connection earlier but I did find it a bit odd. But also our rp levels are very different and it doesn't really engage me unfortunately and I don't have the time to dedicate. I just wanted to help you out and I believe I have done that. Giving you some resources where you can find a better match.

Thats too close for comfort for me. Some people do it. It's ok. There are groups for that. Just my group doesn't participate in that kind of rp. You will do better to find fursona players. Because they will understand you better.

This is essentially a character though.
It's a roleplay dedicated entity which her experiences make her totally different from me even though I say "I play as myself".
It fits with a roleplay. I still have to put myself into the situation. The only difference is I don't struggle with the thought pattern of my character.

Its a persona...or alternate of yourself. You are putting yourself in their shoes. You just said she is a separate version of you. That means you have personal attachment to them in some way. That is the difference. 

The way we rp we have no traits or things in common with who we are playing. It doesn't make us feel a certain way to be playing them. So it is better for you to find others who share a like mind. Fetlife.com also has a good roleplaying section for those who want to play as their character. It's not wrong to do it. It just doesn't fit with me or my group. They are two distinctly different styles of playing.

Oh and just an FYI, I make characters that are not me in name or looks but still have a similar personality that aren't at all personally attached.  They react the same way as I would.

That is still the same thing. Yes and I'm not saying all inside the Tether will have an issue with it. It depends on the style of rp. Its simply a fundamental difference. So I am going to leave you with that information and taking a step back. Like I said I don't really have the time to dedicate and the group is not interested.

I am trying to say our styles don't match up and I would rather void the rp. It hadn't gone very far anyway. And was more of a trial too see how things go. I was being nice because you were being very persistent and were new and couldn't find a lot of rp. So I wanted to try and help you with that. However I wasn't getting much out of it. It is hard for me to come straight out and say hey I'm not really enjoying the rp because the level difference. Then you were doing the odd things about the me and I statements...and also being very nagging to the point I had to make a firm stance on how to communicate with me. It was more of a last straw kind of deal...something I didn't want to confront but now I am.
And I am still being very civil about it. I am still trying to help you find a group in which your style works and you will have a good match. So how is that vindictive?

I said it and say it agian. You told me only after I said these words "I play as myself". You -never- told me I wasn't mixing in because of my actions, or because I was pissing people off. You said it only because I said those 4 words. Also this "I can't be associated with the group" you're basically saying you REFUSE to interact with me at all even if I legitimately tried to CK you. you would be breaking RP by doing that. You can't ignore someone like that in real life so you shouldn't be able to in roleplay either. So just sell me. No reason why you can't do that.

Ohh yeah you can. Its called not associating with that person. Like not seeing them and not answering their calls anymore. I roleplay as a means of stress release and to escape the real world. I'm not going to waste any more of my time in an area that isn't going anywhere and doesn't bring me any joy. And again you a mixing up me and my character. They are 2 different things. My character would be selling your cat character. Not me. And I have every right to back out of an rp that I am not interested in because it is my character. I can break ties if I would like to. For the purpose of your rp you can say she was sold to the Tether...that makes perfect sense and you can still rp from there. That doesn't require any action from me.

I don't hate you. I just don't like stressful situations. And it is the easiest way to let you know and still trying to help you. I didn't say you were horrible in any way. I simply and will continue to say our styles don't match...there will be plenty of others that do. And I have listed a few for you to try. You are angry right now and I get that. But every time it was mostly a point to get my attention to see and poke at me about getting online. It was never just to chat about random things. It was like hi...and leave it hang there for me to interpret. And if I didn't want to speak to you anymore I would have blocked you by now.
