“Making tutorial appointments is vital to successfully using the writing fellows program. To make an appointment, you have go to the WF specific MyWCOnline webpage, which is separate from the regular scheduling system for UVU’s main writing center.  The link is below this video. It is important to note that if you make an appointment on the main writing center page, you will NOT get credit for your required writing fellow appointment. You must make your appointment in the Writing Fellows system, to ensure that a discipline specific writing fellow will be available to meet with you.”
“If this is your first time making an appointment with a writing fellow, then you will need to register for a new account. Select ‘Register for an account’.”

“Fill out the information to the best of your ability. Remember that the email you select for your account will be where client report forms are sent. Make sure it’s an account you access regularly. Once you finish, select ‘Complete Registration’. I’m going to to click cancel, to go back to the login, since I already have an account.” *clicks the cancel button*
“Once you’ve registered for an account, you can log in to the system. Just enter your login information, select your discipline from the list of available schedules and hit ‘Log in’.” *as I type in my account information, select English,and hit log in.*
“Here you’ll see dates and available times of each Writing Fellow in your discipline. The white spaces are open for appointments and each box stands for a 30 minute period. Select a white space at the time you want to schedule your appointment and then fill out the form that pops up.” *Selects white box*
“The appointment will default to a half hour. However, you can choose to extend your time to a full hour, if there is availability, by selecting your end time drop down and picking the time an hour after your start time.” *selects hour long option* “If you are scheduling a group tutoring session, it must be an hour long appointment.” 
“Next you can decide whether to have an in person or online tutorial.” *scrolls down*
“Then, fill out the required information about you and your course as completely as possible. Include a note that the session will be with a group of students, if that applies to you.” *scrolls down to bottom of form*
“Here, you have the option to attach your assignment, so the writing fellow can get an idea of what you’ll want to go over in the session. You must attach your document 3 days before your appointment, if you want a fellow to have time to go over it. You are free to continue to add to and change your document after you attach it to your appointment. Just bring in the newest form of the assignment for your appointment. ”
“Finally, you hit create appointment” *hits create appointment*
“Your appointment selection should appear gold.”
“If you want to attach your document after you’ve created your appointment, you can select your gold appointment. Hit edit appointment and then select the attach document options at the bottom of the form.”
“If you need to cancel your appointment, click on your appointment and select cancel appointment.”
“After your appointment, a client report form will be emailed to you to verify that you attended the session. If you have attended a group tutorial, the names of the group members will be included at the bottom of the client report form, below ‘Recommendations for Next Steps.’ Whoever made the group appointment originally will receive the client report form email and will need to forward it to their group mates. If you do not receive a client report form, or you have any other questions or concerns about creating appointments with a writing fellow, please feel free to send a Canvas message to your course’s lead writing fellow.“
