>You hoped that Luna would show up any second now, wrap you in her wings, and whisper into your ear that everything will be alright.

>That's when you noticed you couldn't get those colors out of your head.
>In your minds eye, there sat a pool that shifted and shimmered, swirls and spirals sitting on it's surface.

>The colors kept swirling around and around, snatching what thoughts they could and pulling them into the multi-colored pool.
>They sputtered and fought, but no matter how hard they tried, not even a bubble broke the surface.
>Eventually, they all sat still, struggles forgotten, being pulled along by the current.
>The water rose higher and higher with each one.
>The colors growing stronger, more vibrant.

>You smashed your head against the floor, the pain jolting you back into awareness.
>Those colors were worming their way into your head, drowning out all thoughts of resistance.
>They wanted to pull you beneath the surface, drown out your sense of self.
>You felt the urge to throw yourself into it, to just give in.
>You weren't sure whether or not that was some part of you, or whether it was the colors speaking.
>Terrified, you realized you weren't able to tell the difference.
>You shook your head violently, trying to scatter those foreign thoughts to the wind.
>No avail.
>The onslaught of colors would provide no mercy.
>The only mercy was to give in to the salvation provided.
>Your eyes, outside of your control, drew themselves to the window once more.
>The colors called and beckoned to you.
>They were a warm ocean of bliss, waiting for you to dip in.
>One by one, you felt your worries and fears slowly slip away.
>The colors cradled you in their embrace.
>You don't remember when you slipped beneath the surface, you don't care.
>Your lungs pounded and screamed, some small portion of you still struggling.
>You hear a voice faintly crying out for someone to save them; for Luna to come and wake them from this nightmare.
>You chuckled, this was no nightmare.
>How could a nightmare feel so good?
>You reached out and stroked the panicked pony, shushing their struggles.
>Slowly, they succumbed.
>Shimmying sideways through the window, you found yourself staring southwards.
>You see the source of the colors, two massive spirals swirling in an everchanging, yet constant pattern.
>Shimmering and shifting colors, singing and signalling you to the source.
