ssIt was a clear day at about sunset, which meant that it was the time that was usually safe for Jaffar and Nino to come outside to do things. So Nino was out on an errand to get things from the market nearby. She was on her way back hom when suddenly, a bad guy soldier appeared! "Nino, watch out!" Jaffar yelled as he ran towards her, seeing the whole thing. The enemy soldier had the upper hand and hit Nino with his axe, making her lose some life. "Ugh! Help Jaffar!" She yelled, luckily the bad ghuy could only hit her once. Jaffar saw this, and he started glowing with rage, and blinked over behind the enemy fighter faster than he could blink. "What the heck?" He said, but it was too late, Jaffar's blades moved way too fast, he seemed like a blur of slices all over , and the bad guy lost all his health in one hit. "Ugh, you motherfucker..." As he fell down.
Jaffar sheathed his swords. "You didn't have a chance, because my swords are superior to your axes... Nino are you alright?" He went over and saw that Nino was still ok. The young mage said "Yes, I forgot my book at home, and I was going to get it, that's why I couldn't attack. But I met Eliwood at the market, and he said that Zephiel has returned, more powerful than ever, and we need to stop him." Jaffar nodded and pulled out his swords again. "Looks like it's time... to get back into the fray, luckily I'm the angel of death." Nino giggled. "Yes and I'm pretty strong too remember?" Jarfar went and they packed up their things. "Well, time to get going..."

Chapter 2:

Nino and Jaffar were on their path to meet up with Eliwood. Along the way, they met with some minor enemies, but Nino brought her books this time, and thanks to their high levels they were able to defeat most of them easily, and they had brought plenty of weapons in case theirs broke. Eventually they came to an abandoned castle. "Are you sure this is the right path to take?" Nino asked. "Yes, I'm sure of it, this castle leads right into Bern territory. Just be careful of enemies... I don't think there are zombies out right now, but you can never be sure." So Nino nodded and they went in, quietly. There was a sudden flash of light, and a bunch of bandits stepped out from the shadows. "Heh we saw you coming from a mile away, don't bother resisting because we have the upper hand, right boys?" The bandit leader said, as he weilded a giant killler axe. "Oh d*mn, this could be bad" Jaffar said nervously as he grabbed his swords, he noticed some of the bad guys had sword reavers, which was bad news for swords. So they fight started, as the leader watched from his throne with an evil grin. Jaffar was slicing in a flurry of speedy blurs, and Nino was blasting the sword reaver users with her lightning as much as she could to protect Jaffar, but they were soon overwhelmed and backed into a corner with low HP. Nino panted, "I think this is the end for us, we should have brought a healer along."
The leader laguhed. "It's too late for that, now get em boys!" But suddenly, there was a blinding series of slashes all around the enemies, which was so fast that it took out several enemies at once with a critical hit. The others looked confused, and one of them raised their giant axe to attack, but then he was blasted back by dark magical energies. "W-what, who the hell are you?" 
From the shadows, stepped forth a figure garbed in dark sleek clothes with bladed armor, shoulders and elbow pads, along with leather straps all over her waist and chest for holding various daggers and magic books. Her hair was white and red like blood streaks, and she had a ninja mask over most of her face... "I'm afraid that the tables have been turned on you, scums." the mysterious assassin said. The enemies got their turn and started attacking this mysterious assassin, but she was crazy fast, and easily dodged all their blows, even from the sword reavers, and her deadly multi-hit counter attacks dazzled the enemies, she was so fast they couldn't even see her, and they pretty much killed in one hit always. Soon it was just one other bandit and the boss left. "Uh oh, I'm outta here!" the one bandit said and ran down the stairs. So it was just Jaffar, Nino, the mysterious dark lady, and the boss. "I'll destroy you!" the boss roared, and charged at Jaffar and Nino. They both put up their weapons. But the mysterious assassin was faster, she darted in and slashed him twice, and then engulfed him in a pillar of dark energy, which destroyed him. "Ugh... my friends will get you for this..." He said as he faded away.
"Wow, thank you, mysterious warrior!" Nino cried out happily to their savior. "You got some d*mn good skills" Jaffar said as he sheathed his swords. The mysterious woman turned to face them slowly, and pulled her ninja mask down to show her flawless beauty. "I thought you might need some help, I've been following you for a while... my name's Bloodsnow. I've trained in the art of swordmasters. I've heard that the evil king of Bern is back again, and I must put a stop to him. Unfortunately, he's more powerful than ever before, and I think you'll need my help if you guys want to have a chance." Nino nodded at this, it seemed like a wise choice, but Jaffar was skeptical. "I don't know, I'm already pretty good with swords... how can you help us?"
Bloodsnow said with a smirk, "My sword skills are passed from ancient deadly assassins that make modern day assassins look like child's toys. Also... I've learned how to use dark magic as well, which meshes with my natural swordsmanship well. You may have noticed my dark spells while I was fighting. I use luna, which is one of the powerful common spells, in fact, I've improved it with my own version of the spell. Usually it is very cumbersome to use, and quite slow, but I managed to cut out the redundant text to make it much faster and lighter... I also added my own secret runes to make it have more attack power. I call it, Bloody Luna, my own personal spell."
"Well, I'm impressed by that, I think it would be an honor to follow you, Bloodsnow." Jaffar said after that. "We will do what we can do aid you" Nino added. Bloodsnow gave them both elixers, since she carried many of them for her dangerous missions, and they set out again after resting a little bit.
