“How many lives does that guy have?” Xawkh asked as he and Hawk followed Telary to the Chronos Pathway. Hawk shrugged. “I’m just glad he didn’t do it with a woman when I used o travel with him.”

The two soon reached the Chronos Pathway as Telary was almost close to it. “Stop, Telary!” Hawk yelled as Telary grunted. “Forget it, Shadowflash. I’m returning to the past, getting rid of you and my enemies. I’m also ensuring my destiny.”

That’s when the three heard a demonic roar and saw Armitael land besides the Chronos Pathway and it turned back to Ron, who walked to it, aiming a Carbine Rifle at Telary. “That time machine is mine. Now stand away from my property.”

“I think not. The time machine belongs to me.” A voice said as Sorin appeared, walking out of a Dark Corridor. “I’ll be sure to say hello to your younger selves before I kill them.”

“That time machine belongs to me!” Telary roared as he was surrounded by an aura of darkness.

“The time machine’s mine.” Ron yelled, surrounded by an aura of darkness as well. Sorin chuckled as an aura of darkness surrounded him. “We’ll have to solve this problem the usual way.”

At that moment, they heard an alarm coming from the Chronos Pathway, followed by a message. “Warning! Critical mass overload! Too much energy gathered! Self transportation activated. Begin in three minutes!”

They all looked at the Chronos Pathway and Telary looked at his competition. “Is it me or did that time machine just say it hit Critical overload?”

“The latter.” Ron replied as Xawkh nodded. “I was afraid someone would say that.”

That was when the three antagonists noticed a plasma grenade that had been thrown at their feet and it exploded, knocking them out. Kaith and Black warped there, followed by Pyro and Haku falling out of the portal yet again, with Haku on top of Pyro. Hawk narrowed his eyes at Kaith. “Haven’t I seen you before?”

“Not the time, Shadowflash.” Black said as Kaith ran to the Chronos Pathway, checked its terminal and cursed. “The Chronos Pathway gathered too much energy. It’s going to send this whole world to the past.”

“Sonuva… If that happens, there’s no telling what the consequences will be.” Pyro yelled.

“How do we stop that thing?” Haku asked.

“We can’t stop it but if we could regulate the energy then we should be able to shorten the radius to at least this area.” Kaith explained as the Chronos Pathway sent out an energy radius around t that began expanding. Black placed a hand near his neck then took off the Teardrop he wore then ran to the Chronos Pathway and placed it where the energy was flowing out. The Teardrop floated over it, the energy now being regulated and controlled as the radius stopped expanding; now covering all nine people. Hawk walked to the Chronos Pathway as it hummed then a flash of light appeared. When the light dissipated, there was no sign of them or the Chronos Pathway. Sam stood on a cliff overlooking the area where the Chronos Pathway stood. “Hmm, I wonder.” He then touched a few buttons on his bracelet and warped away.
