Ralun Goldtalon has forgotten to mention certain details, either by omission or ignorance, and in addition, admitting he has been part of the whole conspiracy.

First of all: it's an absolute lie the nanites were never used. He admits knowing of the whole conspiracy (around two years, according to my own calculations), where none of them took real action. Anyone actually concerned would have moved immediately to remove them, and it wouldn't take more than a few weeks hiring psychiatrists to deal wih possible cases while training new ones. I'm a trainee in the fiel and I know what I'm speaking of. Iya had a decade to move against those nanites. And yet the kits continued to be injected with them. No 'grand planning' was ever needed. Only... STOP injecting them.

But now... it's much more concerning they used them in the tentacle plague to force cures. if the tribe is full of competent mercs... why they couldn't sedate them? Or reduce? Or even tazing? That's the level of incompetence of suposed professional mercs? They need to continue cheating? This sole case contradicts his claim of 'never being used'. The parasite didn't take anyone until weeks passed, a full claim on a body took a lot of time, possibly many months. Then the vaccine, and the cure, were released. A similar concept could be: planting a minefield during a war, and leave the armed mines there, untouched. And claiming a sweep to disarm or blow them up was halted, because they stopped a raider party, while the area was kept unchanged, without active patrols... that's a dangerous line of though.

And... the nanites have been always a voiced secret in the Frostlance. The stimulus was used at times, unknowingly to us of why it happened. We knew our ears were always... soft spots. Now... Ralun probably doesn't know of this. Because he doesn't ask. He doesn't talk with his 'fellows', the same as Aria Frostlance. They always care for their own planning, not how their peers are. Of course there aren't documented cases. Because they happen in the field, or in the day to day, acts that doesn't fall under the common premises, much less in reports. It's a MIRACLE in 150 years nobody has noticed the weakness to sound.. because EVERY pack has been in danger. And mercs tend to make a lot of noise when working.

My old pack leader, Kuno did use once the stimulus to force me into shutting my snout up so I couldn't rant anymore against him. KNOWING it was going to work. There must be much, much other cases. Other pack leaders, packmates, all around the tribe. Not to mention once I got depressed... and a human, who didn't know about it... I can't remember what happened. Practically anything at all. Only that when I came back to my senses, it was hours ahead in time. That human is Lans Mi'zun, who did it out of ignorance.

Now, the claim of the "Scarring". According to Aria Frostlance, when she explained it to me, what happened was that part of the tribe had an attack of PTSD, and a large shootout started within the tribe, killing off half the population. That is, according to her own words, and the nanites were created to prevent it from happening again... instead hiring and training psychiatrists. Either one of them is lying: Ralun, to make it look like as an extreme tragedy, or Aria to me. I don't know whom, but this denotes both don't seem to talk much between them, or... the chance to be a makeup. Stories are completely different.

And then: hiding it from everyone. The Frostlance claims to be a family. The entire tribe. If that's the case, lying and hiding this is the best for the tribe as a whole? Keeping them in the dark because they know better than them? I can assure Aria Frostlance, the only time she rushed to me, in a call, was when she feared I discovered the nanites by myself, scared and afraid the truth could be revealed to the Frostlance. I accepted her words at the time... until I've seen she lied to me they were never used... and I realized my own past. They have been. An as a family... other packs showed disdain to me and Kuno when we goofed, looking us down, forcing us to 'prove' ourselves the right to be equals instead helping us, even teaching or supporting.

Finally: Iya is a weak leader for the Frostlance, these latest months have shown she doesn't seem to concern other than keeping her blood as 'the strong one' to lead the Frostlance, probably until Ralun and Aria's kit is grown up. I went to her once, before leaving, looking for a leader. I chose a mate from the State, looking to a possible solution. There were options, my current pack leader told me a few beforehand. Even, maybe, opening a door to start a low-level alliance with a State tribe. But she did nothing. Told me to do whatever I wanted. And I did. I couldn't stand anymore being ignored like that.

Before closing, a few more facts: he hasn't presented any proof, note, log or audio where the Samaritan threatens them. He is under paranoia, or it's plain slander to make his point look more 'valid'. And someone should ask why every Frostlance looks alike: the answer is the tribe on its entirety is taught since kits to be aligned, such as color is another bit for that. One color, one mindset, obey superiors.
