The Siegfeld dorm lobby is usually not too crowded. People who’s coming and going through the area wouldn’t stop there to watch TV, or read magazine – sometimes the presence of lobby itself is not much of a use. Though, it is different as Yachiyo would occupy the space to watch movies, or when she is lining up her magazines for muses as she browsed the recent fashion trends over the TV channel skimming.

Sometimes, any Edel members will join Yachiyo, mostly Mei Fan who will scold her for being untidy. Mei Fan will come with hands on her hips, telling Yachiyo that it is uncouth for Yachiyo to be so slob (she isn’t, okay. It’s just when she is searching for inspirations that fabrics and open magazines are everywhere) and the China-born girl will likely reprimand the pinkette to clean everything before Akira sees her.

Sometimes, too, as Yachiyo would occupy the TV early than anyone, Shiori happened to come.

“Oh, you’re back~” Yachiyo said in sing-song voice as she spotted the small blonde walked from the entranceway. “Did you go shopping somewhere?”

“I was thinking of seeing movies earlier, but the tickets are sold out.” Shiori answered. “It was a movie about horse-“

“Ah~ no wonder you didn’t come to my room yesterday night.” 

Yachiyo said in a high tone, feigning jealousy. Though, the pinkette could say there’s nothing that can beat the youngest Edel’s love for horses.

As if on cue, Shiori approached the sofa, taking a space beside Yachiyo, ignoring the fabric pile that was Yachiyo’s guests.
 
“Mou, Senpai, don’t say it aloud.” Shiori whispered.

Right, they are together but no one has known it yet. They planned to say it someday, though the day has yet to come. Yachiyo suspected whether Michiru already knew, since that little upperclassman of theirs are keen on smallest details. Akira, if she happened to know, would always choose to be oblivious. As for Mei Fan … Yachiyo worried about nothing.

“Then, sit here and accompany me.”

“I plan to.”

There was still a pout on Shiori’s face. It’s not like the pout is a sign of an upcoming bad thing nor anger from the blonde, it’s just make her cute. Yachiyo hardly ever seen Shiori being angry—and, no, of course she doesn’t want to aggravate the young girl just to sate her curiosity. It’s not good to make someone angry out of fun.

Yachiyo settled to pat on Shiori’s hair. Shiori crooked her brow in questioning.

“Senpai?”

“Sorry, sorry. I don’t mean on teasing.”

“But I don’t mind on accompanying you,” Shiori paused. “Or, are you really jealous because I opted to sleep early and watch the horse instead seeing you last night?”

Yachiyo can’t exactly answer that, she found herself drawing blanks. The pinkette knew that Shiori loves animals, also Shiori’s fixation over horse has been one of the spot for tease. Was she really jealous of mere mare? Did she feel so lonely that she couldn’t be away from Shiori for a little while? Did she simply wanted an affectionate night? Did she want Shiori for no exact reason?

The pinkette didn’t know that it has been long she tried to formulate answer as a small kiss square on the lips is there to take her back to reality. The stare of inquiry is there, coming from Shiori still. Yachiyo could smell a hint of chamomile from her cardigan, which only amplified her mind to ease rather than alertness.

“… Will you forgive me?”

They are close. Yachiyo is holding to Shiori’s hips now, tugging Shiori near, unknown whether the act is there because of her subconscious or conscious side of polarity. 

Earlier, Shiori talked about not being too open about them, and now, the same girl is kissing her in the open, public dormitory lobby?

“I—no, you didn’t do anything wrong.” Yachiyo forced a neutral answer. Heck, she couldn’t rack any better answer from her brain, not even her usual joke to escape the condition. 

Now, she wanted something.

And that unexplained ‘want’ didn’t stop after they shared another kiss.
