For PCs who decide to work with the Triad

The pact: The PCs are required to house a complement of Scarlet Triad agents in Altarein and hand over all the portal keys not currently in use to them. Heuberk Thropp becomes their liaison between them and the Triad. The PCs are immediately able to access the 12th-level arms and armor from Ilssrah Embermead's contacts in Kovlar, though contact with Katapesh has been cut by the Guiding Chisel still being in Veshumirix's grasp.

Module 3 - Laslunn is the PC's contact in Ravounel. The rakshasa Vaklish, Vikmanther and Zimora have decided to double-cross her and ousted her out of the quarry, hoping to ferry the slaves to Vudra to keep them as their own. One-Eye Amnin has defected to the rakshasa's side and attacked Cypress Point to steal the Genie's Smile from the Triad to transport the slaves. In Kintargo, the PCs are asked to track down Barushak Il-Varashma, who has also betrayed the Triad, and kill him, ideally ingratiating themself to the Silver Council to gain their trust. Battles are the same, except Laslunn has been imprisoned in Tannessen's Tower and Barushak takes her place in the quarry as boss of the module. Their mission is to clean up the failing operation in Ravounel before they stir further trouble and salvage the cargo of slaves from the quarry, or if not possible kill them via drowning to cover their tracks. They are offered 2,000 gp each for killing Barushak, and 20 gp for each slave recaptured from the quarry (up to a maximum of 2640 gp each if all the slaves are recaptured).
