Contains: Shrinking EG Vinyl Scratch Barefoot Crush Inshoe Crush “Man, that was one hell of a party last night” Vinyl Scratch held her head as she sat up in bed. She yawned as she waited for her headache to fade. Pushing the covers aside, she swung her legs out of bed, placing her bare feet on the carpet. She stood up, giving her arms a good stretch as she prepared for the day. She had invited a rather large group of people over the previous night. There has been plenty of partying, even enough to wear her out. She went to bed in the middle of the night, leaving her home at the mercy of her guests. Vinyl let out a groan as she realized that she would probably be doing some clean up duty today. She stomped her foot in annoyance, already feeling a crumb stick to her sole. Grumbling, the DJ walked towards her closet, more crumbs covering the bottom of her feet as she got herself ready. She didn’t hear anybody from the other rooms though, so it seemed that most if not all of the partygoers at least had the courtesy to leave, even if she had to clean up after them. - Unknown to Vinyl however, was that her guests were still in the house. Soon after Vinyl had gone to bed, the partygoers suddenly all lost consciousness, falling to floor as darkness took them. Those who had awoken found themselves in a world that had grown incredibly dangerous to them. They had shrunken, their height now mere centimeters, and had somehow been scattered throughout the house. Some found themselves in the kitchen, the linoleum of the counters and floors like a flat, strangely colored wasteland. More were in the living room, lost in a forest of carpet or stranded on the couch and coffee table. A few found themselves in darkness, trapped inside a bag chips, while others were stuck in a bowl of dip, treading the swamp-like substance like water. Lastly, a few were located in Vinyl’s own bedroom, being crushed beneath her bare feet as she got ready for the day. One poor girl was tangled in the fabric of the carpet, watching from in front of the closet as the DJ approached. She saw one young man trip, falling onto floor as Vinyl’s foot over took him; the feeling of flesh pressing on him lasted for mere second before he was crushed. The pure white sole had already been speckled by many almost unnoticeable red spots. Vinyl closed the distance between her closet and her bed quickly. The shrunken girl let out a scream as a foot came down upon her, closing her eyes in fear. All she felt was the impact of the foot hitting the ground, no weight from above. She opened her eyes, realizing that she was between Vinyl’s toes. The girl let out a sigh of relief. She was still alive. Her relief was short-lived however, as Vinyl wiggled her toes a bit, her large toe setting itself on the girl. She was trapped as the DJ looked through her closet, deciding what to wear. The huge appendage pressed her into the carpet, making it hard to breathe as her face was pushed into the floor. She prayed the toe would move again, so that she could have another moment of fresh air. Suddenly, the pressure increased as Vinyl turned, putting all her weight on that foot as she turned in pirouette-like movement. The girl was crushed, staining the carpet and Vinyl’s sole as the DJ headed back towards her bed. - Vinyl sighed in annoyance as she felt another crumb stick to her toe. Sitting down on her bed, she grabbed a tissue off the nightstand and wiped off her soles, cleaning off the offending bits of food. She tossed the tissue in the trash can beside the bed, forgetting about it almost immediately. She began to get dressed. She had picked out something simple: a t shirt, a pair of shorts, and her sneakers. After setting her sneakers on the floor, Vinyl slipped into the shirt and shorts. She pulled the socks out her shoes, having left them inside instead of throwing them in the laundry, deciding she could still get some use out of them. She slipped on the socks, wiggling her toes in the fabric as she picked up one of the sneakers. After putting it on, she stood and gave it a good stomp to make sure it was on all the way. Not bothering to bend down, she just slipped her other foot into its shoe, giving it a few good stomps. Vinyl began to exit the room, frowning as she noticed something. Looking down at her sneaker, she wiggled her toes a bit, feeling something in there… - Soarin awoke to find himself under several pounds of cottony fabric. He had shown up at Vinyl Scratch’s party the previous night. Everyone had been having a blast, but when their host went to bed, everything went wrong. Had suddenly felt himself get drowsy, falling to floor along with everyone else. He soon lost consciousness, his mind fading away into darkness. He awoke several hours later, pinned under some unknown object. It felt like cotton, and something seemed familiar about the feel of it. Soarin pulled himself out from under the object. Wherever he was, it was dark. There was an overwhelming stench in the air, one that was strangely familiar. The floor felt like worn out fabric. He nearly tripped over something in his path. Picking himself up, he examined it with his hands, unable to actually see it. It seemed to be a rope of some kind. He followed it to the end, finding it covered in some hard substance… plastic? Everything about the place felt very familiar: the cotton, the texture of the floor, the rope, and that stench! Soarin’s brain was screaming at him. Somewhere in his mind he knew where he was but he just couldn’t put his finger on it. Suddenly, there were huge tremors, throwing Soarin to the floor as he felt a sudden rush of vertigo. He was being lifted up in the air. The floor began to tilt, and he hung on to the rope. The room was shaking back and forth, throwing the athlete about as he held on for dear life. The floor evened out again as Soarin felt the room be set down. There were still tremors going on though, and their source was definitely nearby. The tremors stopped for moment, and Soarin held his breath, anticipating what was about to happen. He was suddenly blinded as the cotton object was removed and light shined down upon him. Looking down towards ground, he noticed letters written into the floor. They were faded, but still legible. He gasped as he recognized the name of a well-known shoe-company. Looking up, Soarin recognized the titanic form of his host, Vinyl Scratch, as she put on her socks, unaware of her sneaker’s occupant. Soarin began to realize what his surroundings were. The cotton object had been a sock. The smell was foot sweat. The rope was a shoe lace, while the plastic on the end was its aglet. After coming to terms with this knowledge, Soarin looked up and saw that Vinyl had stood up. A particularly large tremor and her lifting her leg made him realize that he needed to run, now! He began sprinting for the toe section, making it to the arch section just as the huge set of socked toes hit the heel. They overtook him quickly, covering him and pressing his lower body under the ball of the DJ’s foot. His upper body was at the mercy of her toes, pressed into the sneaker’s insole with each subconscious movement. He once again felt vertigo, the pressure being taken off of him as Vinyl took a step, only to near immediately press down on him again, with gravity making it worse as the foot hit the ground. This continued for only a few seconds, suddenly stopping once more, giving Soarin a moment of respite. He then felt immense pain as the toes wiggled, pressing his upper body into the insole once more. He felt the shoe lift up and come down again, more forceful than before, the movement repeating and crushing him more and more. He realized that Vinyl was stomping her foot, apparently she had noticed the foreign object in her sneaker. Soarin let out cries of pain as each stomp brought him closer to death. Suddenly, he felt himself being pulled in all directions, his body being ground as Vinyl twisted her foot. He was torn apart, smeared approached the insole of the sneaker, staining the canvas and the cotton of the DJ’s sock. - Vinyl gave a smile as whatever was in her shoe was taken care of, flattened after a few good stomps and grinds. It was probably just a big piece of lint or something. Whatever it was, it was gone now. She headed out the door, getting ready to clean up the house and unknowingly evict her guests for good.
