>You stare at your stub of an arm as you follow Luna to the same hall from last night. >Maybe it`s time for self-termination? The only thing that will result from existing here is a slow descent into madness. >You look up as the clanking of plates and silverware meets your ears. >The table is so full of various breakfast foods that you can almost hear the table creaking. >How do these princesses stay skinny? What the Fel keeps them thin? Something at the back of your mind says 'Magic'. >You sit down and Celetia gives you a strange look. "Excuse me Anon, but...what happened to your arm?" >You give her the most deadpan look you can muster. "Apparently, a few of your subjects are ninjas with a necrophilic hand fetish." >You think for a moment. "Oh, we also can`t forget they also have sex toys capable of parrying a lade.." She just blinks at you. >"Right....So....." You look up from sooping a pile of what you think is pancakes. >"What? Something you want to ask?" You slap several of the pancakes onto your plate along with several fruit. >She finishes chewing on a bit of assorted vegetables. "I would like to know more about you Anonymous?" >That was not expected. "Well...Anything you wish to know specificly?" >Celestia looks at Luna and Luna gives a small nod. What are they up to? >"Well Anon, what we- I mean I want to know is, how did you die?" Oh, they want that story. >You stuff a piece of pancake in your mouth and chew. It tastes like grass and you want to spit it out. >You man up and swallow the pony food. "Are you sure? It might be a bit gorey." >Both Princesses lean in, looking at you expectantly. >You sigh and lean back in your chair. "I died on the day in Prince of Lordaeron attacked my people`s capital to get to our most sacred object, the Sunwell." >Luna cocks her head to the write, reminding you of a Orcs war hound. "What is this Sunwell?" >"You shrug. "It was the source of my people`s power, granting us a mastery over the arcane that none could surpass!" >Your eyes widen and you remember how it felt to have the energy, the power, all coursing through you like the blood in your veins once did. >You let out a small sigh and let your head fall. "But that doesn`t matter anymore.." >Celestia and Luna exchange looks. "Why not?" >You run your remaing hand through your hair, moving it so it covered your empty eye socket and the exposed bone of your skull. >"I guess I should tell you the fall of Quel'thalas." >Your mind begins to replay images from that day as you prepare your story. >Flashback.gif >You ran behind the assorted Archers and Swordsmen, Your robes were spattered with mud and gore. >The Archer to your left pivoted, loosing arrow after arrow into the wall of unliving flesh chasing after you. Ghouls and Skeletons fell to punctured skulls or pierced spines. >They just stood right back up and continued in the chase. >She kept up the volley of arrows as the wretched creatures barred upon her. The last you knew of her were her screams of pain as you slid down a hill away from the oncoming hoard. >You turned a corner and slid to a stop, the rest of your group were gasping as they tried to catch their breath. You counted 3 Archers, A Spellbreaker, and a Mage. You pulled out your canteen and practically inhaled the water. >Your lungs and legs burned and you weren`t sure how long you could keep up with the others. >A loud shriek and a Geist leaped out of a nearby tree, landing on the Mage and ripping at his chest with its hands. >In seconds the Spellbreaker had drawn his blade and sunk it to the hilt into the Geist' skull. >It was too late, the Mage was hacking up blood and trying to hold his guts inside of his body. >Rope like intestines spilled from his shredded guts, blood pumping out in heavy amounts. >You shook your head, if one had found the group a part of the hoard was already on they`re way. >You took off, your legs burning as though you had lit them aflame. Apparently, one of the Archers had the same idea as you and he was keeping pace. >The shouts of the other Archers and the Spellbreaker fill your ears along with the screams of the undying. >A great lumbering beast steps into your vision further along the path you and the Archer are following. An Abomination. >You bring up your right hand, deep-archaic words slipping off your tongue fluently. >Shadowbolt after curse after hex slam into the mountain of flesh a bone but on it comes. >The Archer even adds his volley to the mix, Arrows sinking almost completely into the soft unfeeling flesh. >The most horrible dread grips your heart as you drop to your stomach to avoid a thrown meathook aimed at you. >You were going to die. You learned the darkest of arts to try and avoid this! You still had so much to learn, to experience! >The beast was upon you and your companion and you had to side-step a blow from a massive iron cleaver. >The Archer loosed the last of his arrows and leaped over a swing of the Abomination's claymore. >You nailed the stitched together mound of bodies in its open, leaking guts. >Your shadow bolt blew sickly blue-green guts to unrecognizable hunks of meat. >Your follow up conflagration seared half of it`s bloated face into charcoal. >The Archer ran at a tree, stepping up the trunk using his momentum and braced his feet. >With a warcry, your brave kin leaped off of the trunk and buried a knife to the hilt in the Abominations head. >In the beats death-throes, he sliced your companions legs off with the cleaver. >You bit back the urge to puke, all the sheer violence you had seen since the assault battered at your mind. >You ran from the scene, the mix running through your veins was probably more Adrenaline then blood at the moment. >No matter how hard, fast, or quietly you ran the screams of the damned and the dying followed you. >The beating of your heart accompanied this twisted orchestra. Like the constant thump of a tribal drum or the footfalls of some massive monster. >The cries of the angry dead came from the forest, off to the right. They were coming for you. >Your group had fled not long after Arthas had slain the king. It was clear at that point staying would get you all killed. >It hadn`t been desertion, it was straight up survival no matter how you cut it. >The screaming reached a crescndo and suddenly halted. Your mind raced, what`s happening? Did they`re king call them back? >You turned a corner and dropped to your knees as your eyes beheld a soul-chilling sight. >You had ran straight into the path of the marching army. An endless sea of flesh, bone, and bound souls lay spread out for as far as you could see. >Your blood ran cold and the army seemed to halt as one. Of course they would, everything they saw the king would see. >Your soul seemed to shudder and every breath became visible. Then a laugh, deep, horrifying. >The king himself was here and you felt terror run rampant through you. >Steel and bone clattered as the sea of the dead seemed to part. Your legs felt like jelly and you couldn`t move. >It almost felt like death incarnate was coming to claim you. In many ways, that last thought was true. Two entire kingdoms at the almost killed off all at this monsters hand. >Finally, her strode forth atop his flesh-stripped steed. Lich fire burned in both rider and mounts eyes. >He approached, a wicked grin splayed across his features. You both know you would die in moments. >You were dead, but you would get to look this beast in his eyes. You felt fire grip your heart, fighting back the freezing chill of fear. >You glared, You glared at death itself. You were going to die, but you were going to go kicking and screaming. >You shouted out, tossing shadowbolt after shadowbolt as Arthas himself. He simply took them on his chestplate or knocked them away with his blade. >He never stopped in his advance, in fact he sped up. In no time, Arthas was swinging blade at you, cutting into your side and dropping you onto your back. >You cried out in pain and he turned around, coming back to finish you off. >He stopped not six strides away from you and dismounted. >You could hear the strain of his leathers and the clack of metal plates as he came into your blurry field of vision. >He gripped that accursed Runeblade in both hands and spoke, his voice even sounded like the grave. "Tell me, who is it that dares strike the king of Lordaeron?" >You scoff, drooling a slurry of saliva and blood. "I see no king, only a monster. You have slain not only your own people but mine as well." >He laughs and you can feel each chuckle in your chest. You scream out in pain as he sinks the blade into your ribcage. >Your vision swam and darkened. "You have strike me in life, it is only fitting you act as my hand in death." >He twists the blade and everything goes dark. >Endflashback.gif >The princesses stare at you after you have told your tale. Luna seemed to be a lighter shade of black after the telling. >You give a low chuckle. "And now you know, any questions?" Celestia nods slowly. >"H-how did this 'Arthas' become so twisted?" You stand up, popping the last grape on your plate into your mouth. >"That Princess, occured when he took up the dreaded Runeblade named Frostmourne which devoured his soul." >Celestia seemed to undergo the same process as Luna. "Y-you mean the blade ate his soul?" >You nod. "Mine as well." >The could hear the mice snuffling around in the servants quarters it was so quiet. >"Well." Celestia cleared her throat."Thank you for the story, as thanks for helping to defeat Discord i am going to pay off your debt." >You just shrug, you have to go deal with those ghouls soon. Fel, they might be wondering around Ponyville right now. >You also had to get your hand back. "Think you can teleport me back to Ponyville? There are some things i have to deal with." >Celestia nods and Luna speaks up. "We shall speak with the mayor about securing you a place to stay." >You give a grunt, you relly just want to get back home. "Fine, i probably need to get a place of employment." >Celestia nods and without warning, you`re teleported Straight to Ponyville. >You stagger as you warp into the park. >Damn Celestia, she`s always pulling jokes. >You sigh, first stop will be Sugercube corner and then you`re going to hunt down those ghouls. >You wander through Ponyville, Ponies still stare at you but you don`t give a single fuck. >You lost all your fucks after you died. >Finally, Sugercube corner is within sight and the only oddity was some oversized stallion that you`re sure is on a heavy amount of combat drugs. >You swing the door open and your eye snaps open as far as possible at the sight inside. >"What the bloody Fel? How are YOU here?"
