Part 1

Hello everyone! This topic will be on "Christianity isn't just a confession to get to heaven!"

I feel like there are a'lot of Christians out there that might think they just need to make a confession and maybe go to church a little bit and maybe read their Bibles every now and then. 

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you are to give God your entire life, not just some of your life. God wants all of your life! This doesn't mean that God wants you to spend time with Him 24/7, you can if you want to but God isn't demanding that you spend every bit of your time with Him! God wants to have a deep relationship with you and wants to spend quality time with you! God wants to show you things in His Word but you can't find out those things if you are not reading your Bible! 

Jesus modeled the life that we should live. 1 John 2:5-6 from God's Word says " But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.". In that scripture it's telling us that basically we ought to be walking like Jesus walked! You might say something like well He was Jesus and He was perfect but were sinful and stuff. 1 John 2:5-6 from God's Word wouldn't have said that if it wasn't possible. I'm not sure if anyone has ever heard this lie but it goes something like well were all going to sin sometime or later even though were Christians. 

Here are some scriptures that show that we don't have to sin:

Romans 6:1-2 from God's Word says "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?"

Romans 6:6-7 from God's Word says " Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin."

Romans 6:18 from God's Word says " Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness."

Romans 6:22 from God's Word says "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."

How can we die to sin if we are always going to sin sometime or later? We can't possibly die to sin if we are always going to sin! We don't have to sin, those who are Christians are set free from sin, they no longer have to sin. No Christian can be chained up by sin unless that Christian allows it! James 1:14 from God's Word says "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.". 

1 John 2:1 from God's Word says "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:". Notice how the scripture says "if", part of the scripture says "if any man sin", the scripture didn't say "when", it said "if". IF anyone sins then 1 John 1:9 from God's Word says "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.". Confess your sin if you have any to God and repent of your sin! If God cleanses us from all unrighteousness then that means we would then be righteous in His sight because we are no longer unrighteous! 

you are so valueable to God!!! God thinks you are worth the blood of Jesus being shed! God loved us so much that He sent Jesus to shed His blood for us. Jesus not only died for our sins but He died for us to get us back to God! Jesus also taught us how we should live.  Christianity isn't just going to church a couple times and read your Bible every now and then. God wants to transform you to become like Jesus! John 14:12 from God's Word says " Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.". The scripture is basically telling believers that we would do the same works Jesus did and even greater works than that! Jesus healed the sick, opened deaf ears, caused the blind to see, casted out devils, caused the lame to walk and even raised the dead back to life!

Christianity is so much more than making a confession to get to heaven. God wants to use you for His purpose! I strongly encourage all of you to please read your Bibles daily! Don't say that you don't have time. God is more important! Ask God to give you wisdom of His Word and to reveal Himself to you! God loves you so much and cares deeply about you!!

Part 2 - Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Have you given Him your life?

God is so loving and cares for each and every one of us! You may be here right now and you don't know the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, God's will involves us becoming His children, to become one of His children you have to have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ and in order to do that you need to accept what Jesus did for you. God's Word says in John 3:16-17 - "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.". God's Word tells us in Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.". God's Word also tells us in Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;". Romans 5:8 in God's Word says - " But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.". God loves you and wants to have a deep relationship with you! God is merciful and is willing to forgive us and accept us in, we just need to accept His gift of Jesus Christ! If your reading this and you want to give your life to God then confess the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and believe on God who sent Jesus and raised Jesus from the dead. Then ask God to forgive you of all your sins. Romans 10:9-10 in God's Word says "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.". If you've done those steps then welcome to God's family!! God's Word says in Luke 15:7 - " I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.". From this point forward, continue your life in God's will because that's very important! Matthew 7:21 in God's Word says "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.". Ask God to show you what His will is, ask God to reveal Himself unto you and ask God to give you wisdom of His Word. I strongly encourage that you read your Bible everyday!
