- Here I'll write down some quirks and impressive tricks about the game.
- They are actually widely known within the community, yet I'm too much of noob right now.
- My own findings.
- 1. Afterjump recovery is actually longer than after jump punch recovery.
- 2. Donnie can throw the ball at ANY time! Interrupting his throw, special attack or most other moves would result in leaving the invulnerability flag set thus making him immortal.
- 3. Donnie's ball again. It's kinda interesting that most attacks interrupted by it actually try to get finished. For example, the ball is thrown during dashkick. Donnie will stop to launch the ball, BUT then continue to fly dashkick. It will reset his Y position though, it will be "slidelike".
- Also he can use that to continue closing in after launching the projectile.

- 4. When the game goes into demo mode and starts a fight, it's actually not similar to those you can run in the TOURNAMENT mode. The timer which determines the length of the demo fight (also the waiting time at all title screens) is 16 bit and is located at zero page by the address $009C (it's starting times are hard-coded). If we freeze it during the demo fight, we would see what's actually going on. And actually CPU assumes the role of Player1 and starts playing regular story mode, although both starting fighters are still chosen randomly. He will eventually get to GAMEOVER, but given we help him with some cheats, the game will be beaten right to the credits. Another place where CPU could also use some help is the bonus game. AI doesn't know what to do with those walls, but suddenly the human player will get to control the turtle. Yet, when the bonus game ends, CPU will assume the control again.
- No matter who is in control, unfreezing the timer will send you to April. Pressing START will still send you back to the main menu.

- 1. Mickey somehow manages to to perform dashkick against against Casey, land BEHIND HIM and perform a throw like he landed BEFORE HIM.
- 2. The Shredder can landjumpkick and jumpkick right awaY!
