  16. It's not at all a contradiction to say in one statement that X is commonplace/popular, and be against the current, and in the next say something that goes with what is.

  28. siz🌸Today at 3:51 PM
  29. he was investigated
  30. the person who accused him even admitted to lying

  33. It's completely unprecedented for partisan blockade of major legislative appointments, and while that has been levelled at senate democrats for arguably obstructing Kavanaugh, those same people are awfully silent about the previous nominee that didn't even get a vote due to Republican refusal to even let it go to a vote.
  34. CotopaxiToday at 3:53 PM

  36. what would you do in that situation
  37. people always take back their claim that way

  66. the kavanaugh hearing was a major test of the #metoo movement's ability to castrate any figure it deemed worthy of destruction with various unprovable accusations and injunctions to "believe women"(edited)

  71. siz🌸Today at 3:58 PM
  72. the kavanaugh confirmation was bigger than partisan "polarrization". the hearing was a culture war, which is increasingly a race war
