  3. General Changes:
  4. Implemented Nvidia DLSS Frame Generation option
  5. Added band music player ingame. Songs can be skipped with the default skip button "M".
  6. Integrated the "baths" level into the 1st class level. It is possible to seamlessly walk into here from 1st class. It is still possible to directly spawn here.
  7. Integrated the "boilers" level into the forward crew level. It is now possible to seamless walk from the boiler rooms into the firemen's tunnel. It is still possible to directly spawn here.
  8. Moved linen room to the 3rd class level. The door onto Scotland road has been opened.
  9. Added "Lighting Contrast" setting in the display options page. You can select Low, Standard, or High to change the postprocessing settings for local exposure, affecting dynamic range.
  10. Added a "Default FOV" setting in the control options page. This is the FOV you load in at, and also the FOV your middle mouse button resets to.
  11. Rebuilt camera FOV scroll to zoom system to be smoother.
  12. Added camera FOV zoom speed option to control how quickly you can zoom in or out.
  13. Added movement speed option to scale the player's movement speed.
  14. Added a slight camera boom effect to smooth player camera when going over bumps or hitting obstacles.
  15. Implemented more graphics quality levels. The previous maximum settings are approximately equivelent to "high" in this new version.
  16. Implemented a small level of file compression to help reduce game size on disk.
  17. Demo401 is now installed as a regular program on your computer. The installer also automatically installs the Unreal Engine pre-requisites.

  21. Rebuilt all lighting with UE5.3 baker. Lightmap resolution has been reduced by 25% with little to no perceptible quality loss, with a significant disk size improvement.
  22. Doubled reflection capture resolution to improve reflection quality.
  23. Supersampled reflection captures to improve quality and reduce artifacts.
  24. Mirrors and some window reflections have been captured using a new manual render target method, further increasing reflection quality on some mirrors and windows.

  26. Improved splotchy oak texture in the lounge.
  27. Fixed smearing and fireflies in stained glass materials.
  28. Fixed transparency at distance in stained glass.
  29. Fixed chandelier transparancy at distance.
  30. Fixed ocean sometimes being black/unlit in certain areas.
  31. Fixed tiling issue on wood deck material in the cafe parisien.
  32. Fixed carpet tiling in 1st class lounge.
  33. Fixed a number of one sided light fixture materials.

  38. Fixed slow loading lightmaps. The speed of loading is affected by your texture quality setting. Reduced quality may be smoother.

  44. Changed exposure offset setting from a slider to a button text switcher
  45. Added scroll sounds to all UI menus
  46. Implemented an "Apply resolution & window mode" button to the display settings to make changing of resolution and window mode easier.

  48. Fixed spelling mistake on note in 1st class enquiry office.
  49. Fixed UI scaling at lower screen resolutions.
  50. Fixed keybind changes automatically resetting back to their defaults.
  51. Fixed some menu items getting stuck when clicking too many times in a short period of time.
  52. Fixed credits music not fading out if back key is pressed.
  53. Fixed bug where the actual level loaded that is randomly selected by hitting "select" button in main menu does not match UI.

  58. Other Bug Fixes:
  59. A UE5 engine bug was causing all fallback/proxy meshes present in the scene to be fully loaded into VRAM. A workaround has been implemented that has reduced RAM and VRAM usage by a very considerable margin
  60. Numerous collision escapes fixed.
  61. Numerous collision adjustments made.
  62. Fixed camera FOV scroll speed being tied to the frame rate.
  63. Fixed smoke particle speed being tied to the frame rate.
  64. Countless additional minor collision and visual issues fixed which have not been noted in this changelog.

  66. Known Issues:
  67. We are missing 66 potatoes from the cargo hold. Someone has hidden them all over the ship.
