#622 - Heralds, Read and Be Afraid

It's a bloody page that only was discovered after more recently unearthed documents discussing Heralds and Seraphs. On the page is just a list of names, listed under the title of, 'Know Them and Be Afraid.'

"The Gyre, swirling every higher, serving the Archfiend of Hunger and the Deeps.
Orichalcum, the betrayer, serving the Archfiend of Slavery and Pack Instincts.
Zircon, He Who Waits, serving the Archfiend of Ice, the Queen of Stasis.
Azazel, the Eater of Stories, serving the Archfiend of Secrets, Ignorance and Forgetfulness.

The first "He who betrays" is crossed out, but above it are written the same words? No, sometimes it reads "He who betrays" and sometimes it reads "He who is betrayed". Never shifting when being read, never staying the same between readings.

The Lady of Many Faces, serving Veil, the Archfiend of Lies and Injustice.

The Queen of Diamond Thrones, She Who Sees Madness Perfectly, serving Veil.

Where it once began with "The Thrice Sworn", a single neat line has been drawn through it. It continues with, "Thrice Damned, serving Despair, the Archfiend of Bitter Strength and Nightmare."

Dirge, the Harbinger of our Undoing, serving Despair."

There were lines once about Orichalcum serving the Archfiend of Slavery, Azazel serving the Archfiend of Secrets, and Ruin as the Dark Reflection of Civilization but the three lines are unreadable, covered in a blood smear. Now there's a single line at the end written in bright red that is always fresh of blood.

"I WILL EAT EVERY LAST FUCKING ONE OF YOU."
