  1. Hello Kju,
  2.
  3. unfortunately I could not get help with translation this time but if you are not sure about something please just ask.
  4.
  5. I understand how you could learn these tricks from videos from our community. However there are some details that I would like for you to explain.
  6.
  7. For example, in Angel Island 2 you show knowledge about global timers for the movement of the platforms. In Hydrocity 1 you show knowledge about the invisible object before the boster that avoids a crouch after gliding. In Ice Cap you know about the method to skip the boss at the end. But even though you know about all these things you don’t know that we for more than a year use file saves to do speedruns where we wait for the game to save then reset the console to skip cutscenes and similar things. You also do the level wrap in Flying Battery 1 even though we do a completely new method which is much more consistent and on average faster than the level wrap (it is commonly known after an emote by Mike89 named “as intended”). You can see both of these tricks in action here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/315207961?t=25m25s.

  9. There is also the issue of video splicing. Most of the hard glitches in your videos are after level transitions where it would be easy for someone to use video editing software to cheat. While these things normally mean the run is just really good, it makes it suspicious when someone unknown to the community uploads a world record run.
  10.
  11. The reason why I asked about Discord is because right after I sent my first mail someone asked for my Ice Cap level wrap video on youtube with a beginner method. When you answered my question about how you learned to speedrun and mentioned my Ice Cap video it made it look suspicious because it seemed like you just took the first one you found.
  12.
  13. Right now there’s nothing that anyone can see that makes it a definite rejection, but many of the moderators feel like there’s too many suspicious things to accept as the world record. When I get time I will double check to see if there’s any inconsistencies with audio and video using analysing software so if you could send me the source video that you uploaded to youtube (your local recording) it would be helpful to your trustworthyness. I would also suggest that you try to do live videostreams of your speedrun attempts on youtube or twitch if you can in the future.
  14.
  15. Also this is important. I would like it if you could send me the .lss file for Livesplit with the 950 runs.
  16.
  17. We are still discussing if we want to accept or not based on trust. If you can help me with reasons to trust your run is legitimate like sending me these files I will do the best I can to convince the others. Otherwise you will need to prove yourself to be trustworthy before submitting another run in some way.
  18.
  19. Thank you for your cooperation and hopefully this can be resolved :).
