Uses his slipstream to build up enough speed to hit Gohan with the force of an exploding star

With perfect ease, Cell reached out and opened a rift into slipspace, immediately accelerating to a dozen times the speed of light. He couldn't use superluminal travel inside the Earth's atmosphere, but Gohan was at the very highest part of the atmosphere. Nothing would prevent him from dropping out of slipspace the instant before he reached the annoying brat and using his momentum with devastating impact.

"Where's he going?" Gohan wondered aloud, being sure to keep his defenses ready. He had completely lost sight of the android. "I know he can't be running away."

Smiling at his own brilliance, the bio-android took one loop around the sun, aiming himself back at the third planet with all the increased speed he could muster. He set his sights directly on Gohan, whose energy burned brightly in his mind even though he was still too far away to see.

He would tear through the boy's body like tissue paper and rip the planet apart in his wake. Nothing could stop him. He was invincible, incomparable, unparalleled. Perfect.

Halfway past the orbit of the moon, he thrust one fist forward and let the blanket of slipspace fall away, leaving him at only a hair under the speed of light.

'TAKE THIS, BOY!' Less than one second passed before—

PHDROOMMM!

Cell's fist smashed into Gohan's crossblock with the force of an exploding star.

Goku and the rest of the Z Fighters saw a brilliant flash of light fill the sky above them, reverberating out in a shockwave that stretched to every corner of the horizon. From the center, a trail of light pierced down, down, down...

CRAAAASSSKK. Gohan landed in the center of the ring on his hands and knees, cracking it completely in two. Had any of the force from Cell's blow remained, the Earth itself might have been split apart. Gohan had absorbed it all, and had maintained the fortitude to slow himself enough that he wouldn't completely demolish the tournament ring. Grinning cruelly and filling his lungs up with a deep breath, the young Saiyan stood.

"Wow, Cell," he chuckled. "Nice trick. That would've probably worked if you weren't so weak."

TAC. Cell dropped to the surface of the ring, the look on his face one of utter humiliation and unstifled frustration. His right arm hung limp, completely shattered by the impact. Snarling, he ripped away the useless limb and concentrated for a split second before regenerating it.
