Shigure: As promised the other time, I have brought various paintings.
Kamui: Thank you! Show me immediately then...ooh, amazing as always...! Is this a painting of Aqua?
Shigure: Yes.
Kamui: And this one...is it perhaps a picture of the secluded region you were raised in?
Shigure: Yes, that is right.
Kamui: I see...
Shigure: And this...is a picture of my caretakers in the secluded region.
Kamui: ...Everyone looks so kind.
Shigure: Yes. Every time I look at this I remember...I cannot return there any more and meet those people again. So I feel inclined to keep working hard.

Shigure: Places that I have definitely never been to. Somewhere in my head I have a clear recollection of them so I proceed to paint while I remember them...and they become a single scenery (?)

Shigure: No, it is definitely different to that. Their form becomes crisply clear inside my head.

Kamui: Shigure. So, this is a painting of the usual scenery that's in your head!  ......This painting...
Shigure: What do you think, is this painting weird?
Kamui: It's a landscape painting but...I can't tell what kind of terrain this is? It feels...so abstract.
Shigure: Yes. The mountains, the sea, the rivers...the meadows...and the buildings...it's unlike any place in Hoshido or Nohr or this world, it's like a different world. Even now, I can see this scenery in my head.
Kamui: ......For example... what if it's something like this? You might remember this scenery because of the blood that flows through your body.
Shigure: Blood...you say?
Kamui: Yes, Aqua's blood as well as her parent's blood. Memories of this scenery were stored in the blood you inherited and remained in your unconsciousness...something like that.
Shigure: Normally this would be a laughable story but...I too think that might be possible.
Kamui: Or perhaps this is a prophecy and you will eventually go to these places. It's some kind of hint about the future...maybe.
Shigure: I see. That is not a bad idea.

Shigure: Yes, of course. Once my next painting is complete I will firstly show it to Kamui-san.
